Yeah so I just finished watching Chronicle. It was pretty cool, but not too special. It was kind of hard to get in the movie [sp]when the main character is a a psychopath straight from the beginning, and eventually even turns into a weird nazi[/sp] I'd say that the thing that kept the movie interesting is mostly the really awesome effects, but apart from that, I didn't find it special. But yeah, the effects were pretty damn cool.
Robin Hood (2010) 6/10 [sp]medieval d-day scene :v [/sp]
What were the other 2?
Transformers 2 and Dead Men Walking 2005.
Sharktopus 11/10
Immortal Beloved - 9/10 Since I'm a big music person (this was a movie on Beethoven and his romance life), this movie fascinated me. Plus it's apparently historically accurate. Depressing as fuck too. Also, tits.
I saw Moonrise Kingdom (2012), and I loved it. It was sooo charming and cute/10. Great cast too. I smiled almost throughout the whole film.
True Romance - 8/10 Loved the shoot-out at the end.
MIB 3 8/10 Great movie, I really liked it.
Unbreakable 8/10
Sphere 6.5/10
taxi driver was nice
Inspired by that Ip Man watching dude, i'm going on a Chinese/Korean martial arts movie binge. I'll be watching movies in both the spiritual/philosophic camp and the epic "ohwowlol hewona1v100fight" camp. If you feel like it, throw some reccomendations at me. Don't be afraid of hitting the face.

Snow White and the Huntsman 2/10 It's like Lord of the Rings, if whenever Frodo saw a Nazgul, he just batted his eyes at it and it went away. Because Frodo was pretty. I've only fallen asleep during two movies. The first one, I had been awake for 36 hours before. And then there was this one. Why does it have 2 stars? Charlise Theron is pretty good in it and the music didn't suck. The writing, costumes[sp]the single worst bowl cut I've ever seen[/sp], and the acting were all pretty miserable. The only reason I saw it was because I was with friends and we'd already seen The Avengers. Twice.
Prometheus - 8/10 Lacked in writing but made up for it in how tense and hectic some scenes were. Kept me interested.
Prometheus 9/10 If you are one of the few people who haven't watched this yet, go and do it now, you wont regret it. Kept me interested throughout the entire movie, some parts could've been better but all in all I found it to be one of the more enjoyable movies I've seen in many years.
so I've never seen North but I've heard it is an abomination of cinema still want to see it is this one of those so bad it's good movies or is it just straight up bad or did I hear wrong and it's actually decent

Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.
sounds pretty great
The prestige 10/10 My mind is full fuck.I'm going to have to watch it again.
Men in Black 3: 5/10 This movie was just mediocre. While it is always enjoyable to watch Will Smith, most of the jokes in the film were dumb and not funny. Many of the characters were also very bland and boring to watch. However, the movie did have its moments that were clever, or funny, or even depressing. Overall, not a horrible movie, not great, but just alright.
I'd say 5 is too low for an "alright" movie
Ip Man 1+2 Rating: Holy shit son! Good movies. Looking forward to the final entry.
Ip Man 1+2 Rating: Holy shit son! Good movies. Looking forward to the final entry.
There is no 3rd. That other one is completely unrelated.
There is no 3rd. That other one is completely unrelated.
Donnie Yen signed up November 2011 for a third to be released in 2013. Don't think i haven't got the brains to distinct two separate attempts at production from each other.
Yen later stated that after Ip Man 2, he would no longer be involved in a film based on Ip's life

On October 21st 2011, Donnie Yen changed his mind about not returning for a third film and that a second sequel was in the works and could possibly be released in 2013 where at the end of that year, he would retire from acting making it his last film. The film will focus on Ip Man training Bruce Lee, fending off racist foreigners and gangs and will introduce a new Antagonist who threatens to destroy the name of Yong Chun.

I'd say 5 is too low for an "alright" movie
No no no. 1 = Alright 2 = Alright 3 = Alright 4 = Alright 5 = Alright 6 = Alright 7 = Terrible 8 = Alright 9 = Okay, nothing perfect. 10 = AMAZING, this is perfect A .5 added at the end of the score (EG: 7.5) means it's alright.
Wasn't there a IP man prequel except its direct to dvd?

Strangers on a Train 8.5/10 Not the best Hitchcock, but very intrigueing and suspenseful. A few scenes are cringeworthy, like when he talks to the old woman and pretends to strangle her. Of course, in those years films didn't have that extremely realistic approach to things. Everything was dramatized and exaggerated.
I'd say 5 is too low for an "alright" movie
5 is in the middle, I consider the middle "alright."
