No no no. 1 = Alright 2 = Alright 3 = Alright 4 = Alright 5 = Alright 6 = Alright 7 = Terrible 8 = Alright 9 = Okay, nothing perfect. 10 = AMAZING, this is perfect A .5 added at the end of the score (EG: 7.5) means it's alright.
IMO: 1 = horribly bad 2 = also horribly bad 3 = horribly bad with one or two redeemable qualities 4 = some more redeemable qualities 5 = wouldn't have been bad but took a wrong turn at some point 6 = alright 7 = it's no masterpiece but it's good to watch 8 = really good movie 9 = amazing 10 = probably on the reviewer's top favorite list
ratings are pointless unless the reviewer explains where the rating is coming from. i rate movies 1/10 but still enjoy the fuck out of them.
6 is good, 5 is mediocre, the border between good and bad
I prefer gaming mills method. 9.5 for everything.
overall a good a game I give it a nine and a half out of ten see ya next time gaming mill fans ~WONGA~
Project X 7/10 As others said the movie feels rushed in that there isn't much of a rise to the party or throughout it, as well as there being a lack of character development. Other than that, the filming, music, and overall chaos of a large scale party was good.
u sicken me
I don't think a movie without characters could really be good at all. The point of watching a film is to see change.
i watched Mientras duermes, 7.5/10 i really liked it, it wasn't a big film but it did what it set out to do and it did it very well. had a great portreyal of it's creepy protagonist and i'd recommend it to anyone that likes foreign horror/thrillers (imdb says horror but i don't think that's very accurate, though i'm at a loss as to what else to describe it as) http://rustysreviews.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/mientras-duermes-sleep-tight-2011.html
Cast Away: 9.4/10 This movie was great. Tom Hanks gave us a wonderful performance as Chuck Noland. I liked how creatively Chuck used the things inside the FedEx packages, and also how such basic discoveries, like fire, can cause him so much excitement. I think that there could have been more scenes with Wilson added, as there was not a whole lot of interaction between Chuck and Wilson. I know that Chuck talked to him a lot over the course of a few years, but it was not very prominent in the movie, and he practically forgets about Wilson altogether at the end. However, the ending was very powerful, and overall the movie was great and I enjoyed it. Pulp Fiction: 9.7/10 This was the first Quentin Tarantino film I ever saw, and I know for sure I'll be watching more of his work. I enjoyed almost everything about this movie. It has everything I love in it, comedy, drama, Samuel L. Jackson, great writing, and very interesting characters. Awesome movie, I loved it, and it is one of the best films i've ever watched.

At first i though poor Bumbles had a major personality and pigment disorder. Then i discovered they were yanking my chain...
The Day After Tomorrow 8.5/10 Pretty much the best natural disaster movie I've seen.
watched Exotica and Talk Radio both superb choices for me to see, I have no idea but I went into these with the clear choice that I wanted to see both. I didn't see any previews, but they just felt as though they were going to be good. They're both psychological dramas in one respect or another, and they both treat their subject matter with complete sincerity. Talk Radio is actually brilliant though, really surprisingly great flick by Oliver Stone. Lots of character and intensity in that one.
Going to watch Piranha 3D. Dis gun be gud.
Doesn't anyone feel they've "seen it all" when it comes to those kind of horror movies. I mean Jaws was the benchmark, how is there room for expansion on that?
"Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord" trilogy - 7.5/10 Some very good performances. A bit hard to understand some of the accents, especially when they talked fast.
Doesn't anyone feel they've "seen it all" when it comes to those kind of horror movies. I mean Jaws was the benchmark, how is there room for expansion on that?
There isn't. It's just a quick buck producers think to make. The quality is so bad it's laughable.
The quality is so bad it's laughable.
I dunno, contrary to what I expected, people seem to like Piranha 3D.
I dunno, contrary to what I expected, people seem to like Piranha 3D.
People also liked Anaconda and Sharksquid.
Going to watch Piranha 3D. Dis gun be gud.
Whatever you think about Piranha 3D, wait until you've watched the sequel. It trumps the original in every way possible.
Whatever you think about Piranha 3D, wait until you've watched the sequel. It trumps the original in every way possible.
There's a sequel?
Chernobyl Diaries 3.5/10
There's a sequel?
Piranha 3DD. All you need to know is that it's got The Hoff in it.
Piranha 3DD. All you need to know is that it's got The Hoff in it.
Oh, fuck me sideways. That's the one I'm going to watch.
Shutter Island. Well fuck. I rate it: Very good, buy it, watch it, make love to the disk. Then think about what you've done (aka 9/10)
Shutter Island. Well fuck. I rate it: Very good, buy it, watch it, make love to the disk. Then think about what you've done (aka 9/10)
What in the name of Bob Saget would you do with a disk if it was a 10/10?
Oh, fuck me sideways. That's the one I'm going to watch.
Don't know if you've seen it but it's also got the cowboy from Anchorman/douchy boss from FD5 so that's always nice. And I shit you not, at one point [sp]a tiny piranha swims up a chick's vagoo[/sp], which leads to one particular sequence that is just so over the top, so fucking ridiculous, I honestly can't help but wonder who the fuck came up with that.
A Vanishing on 7th Street; 6/10 A movie with potential, but the whole movie felt badly made.. And it was a HUGE flop: Production costs 10.000.000, and they only made 20,000 in theaters.

Sweet mother of Mercy, Piranha 3DD is a bad movie. Easily the worst movie I have ever seen. Although the part where [sp]Hasslehoff saves the little kid[/sp] was pretty funny.
Sweet mother of Mercy, Piranha 3DD is a bad movie. Easily the worst movie I have ever seen.
Seen Alone in the Dark yet? Might make you rethink that statement. That 'film' (and I mean that VERY loosely) is, hands down, without a doubt the worst piece of shit I've ever seen. In fact, it's the only movie so far that I've considered to be a genuine waste of time. I think I'll pick up the Piranha 3DD blu-ray when it's down to a tenner or something. Yeah, it's terribly bad but it's also really REALLY dumb fun. And let's be honest, there's nothing wrong with dumb fun.
