Hey guys Guys! Drive 2
bullshit
bullshit
I just googled it and all I could find was an interview where he said it isn't impossible that he will make a film based on the original book's sequel, Driven. Far from a confirmation though.
Spider-man trilogy. While the special effects are a bit dated, the action sequences were really great, it's nice to see a movie that actually lets you see all the choreographed action instead of shakycam. 1 was great. 2 was probably the best. 3 wasn't actually as bad as people perceive it. They should have thrown out some of the scenes with him pointing to women in the street and done something else in place of it, but overall it was good if you ignore a couple brief shots. Overall I give it a 4/5.
saw The Secret in their Eyes. Yeah I know I planned to see El Topo but I thought fuck it. This is one heck of a movie... it's a stroke of genius. I struggle to find the words because there are moments on it that are staggeringly good. Towards the end though, something made me realise that this was going to be a rare occassion when I'll call a movie a modern masterpiece. [sp]It's the part where "I fear" is changed to "I love you" by just the addition of the letter A[/sp] i owe you one jewdoser.
Its the pivotal parts of the film that give it structure, the understanding of human behaviour like the part where they understand passion and what motivates a person. Such mastery of storytelling is a rarity. Glad you liked it, as soon as I'd watched it, I knew that was one for you.
anyone know a good teenager comedy? something close to superbad and 21 jump street
Nobody Knows - 9/10 Wow that was just a tear jerker. If anyone wants to see something so sad and disgusting at the same time. Watch this movie.
Fellas let me know some nice movies where the intensity is up all the time and has a great story, as in prestige, clockwork orange, memento. I want to show my dad some great films, but he doesnt have the patience to watch movies with slow starts like usual suspects, reservoir dogs, drive. I'm eagerly waiting for your recommendations!

Why do they start at midnight with a movie that's been out for 7 years? Why not start at 6 pm and then watch TDKR as soon as possible.
It's going to called Driven, or something
There's no confirmation it's going to be made, but the author of the book wrote a sequel (called Driven) and both Nicolas Refn and Ryan Gosling said they'd like to make a sequel to Drive so it's possible at least
Run, Fatboy, Run 7/10
anyone know a good teenager comedy? something close to superbad and 21 jump street
Oh my god. The Breakfast Club dude. Watch it. [sp]Not strictly comedy though.[/sp]
Oh my god. The Breakfast Club dude. Watch it. [sp]Not strictly comedy though.[/sp]
That and maybe something by Kevin Smith. Not sure what movie though. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] I don't like Kevin Smith's movies as much as I like Breakfast Club but they are still a great watch and focuses mainly on teenager's lives
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone- 8/10 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets- 8/10 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- 8.5/10 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- 7.5/10 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix- 8/10 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince- 7.5/10 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1- 8.5/10 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2- 8/10 What a solid series of movies. I don't think I've seen a series of films that stretch over 8 parts done so well. Usually after the second or third part, the series starts to go downhill, but it was kept pretty balanced throughout the series. Very well done.
How many movies you watch this week, 30? :-)
I know the filling. Going through an entire series of a television show or watching too many movies to remember. Good stuff!
Fight club is so good that a 10/10 isn't really enough
not if you actually understand how ratings work...
It's going to called Driven, or something
I read the book, shit's completely different from drive. I am a big fan of drive too. It will be interesting in film.
Fight club is so good that a 10/10 isn't really enough
I think I'd give it exactly 10/10 actually, and move the shit films down accordingly. Anyway: The Final Destination - 1/10 - only thing to watch when its -5 outside in the middle of another country. We were watching Billy Mays infomercials in the ad breaks and enjoyed them more than the movie itself. I have to say once the first mall thing ended and he started to relive it, and he got nailed to the wall half of us exploded with filmrage - Two of us being volunteers in the CFS. So we all went and built a fire. I'm assuming it doesn't get much better in the bits I missed. Also how the fuck can your ass get suctioned onto that kind of hole. Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus - the above only gets a 1 because this gets a 0, actors actually looked at the camera in some points. In the 'watched by choice range' Up - 10/10 - Just fantastic, again. Drive - 9/10 - This genre of movie is just fantastic to me, I love the feel of it. The Guard - 9/10 The Art of Flight - 8/10 - Watched while snowboarding in New Zealand, appropriate. The Avengers - 8/10 - Rule of Coooool Captain America: The First Avenger - 7/10 - Was put off from watching it after seeing the Rooster Teeth short, thought it would be a shit film. Rooster Teeth gave me the wrong impression. Winnie The Pooh - 7/10 - The whole filmed seemed like Deja Vu and that I'd already seen it, but it was wrapped in nostalgia. Holidays ended, back to work.
Brave - 7/10 For a Pixar movie, that was pretty disappointing. Not Shrek or Tangled enough.
Man, two times over the past few days, a movie channel was playing X-Men: First Class, and with both I missed the beginning and parts of the middle. I did see some parts, but I was a bit confused because they seemed out of context. The acting was pretty good in what I saw, though. I'll probably review it if I can catch it before I miss the beginning.
not if you actually understand how ratings work...
right
right
its as retarded as saying 110%
its as retarded as saying 110%
but percentages over 100% exist. aka "your 107% more dumber than the average horse"
he's just exaggerating in order to express how much he likes the movie stop making a big deal out of it
ratings mean fuck all to me.
but percentages over 100% exist. aka "your 107% more dumber than the average horse"
Yeah but if 100% is considered a perfect rating, it can't be more than perfect.
The Book of Eli 8/10 and Lockout 8/10. I enjoyed both a lot. Especially Book of Eli.
