The Dark Knight Rises was one of it not the best experience I've had watching a movie in my life.
I don't "trust" Ebert, he hates a lot of things I like.
But when a slight bit of a sign that it's underwhelming comes to mind, I get these pre-emptive feelings that it won't deliver. Even if it's Rusty's best movie experience..
I think in the time you take reading reviews you should just watch some quality movies instead.

People's perspectives interest me. It makes sense how irritated people get obsessed, that's why the one dude who made a negative review about it got spammed with death threats.
I remember him giving that movie Marmaduke like 3 out of 4 stars because it reminded him of the old newspaper comic strip. I watched that movie, and it was fucking awful.
Just got done watching Robocop... definitely a classic. Can anyone recommend any similar movies? I was really liking the alternate universe detroit with all the crime and corruption, and the whole hero thing.
Blade Runner.
Blade Runner.
also make sure its the Final Cut.
Fellas please tell me some movies that dont have a bad starting 20-ish minutes...wich make people like my dad quit watching the movies just as it gets interesting.
Movies like Drive and Collateral...
He actually enjoyed Fearless, The Grey and Fires on the Plain...to name a few
This just in: Going to the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises. I just hope my fatass can fit in the chairs.
Twilight 10/10
Private Parts: 8.5/10
Very interesting movie, and very hilarious. You kind of have to respect the man for what he's done.
The [sp]comparing black penis to rhinoceros penis in the beginning was hilarious, had me in tears.[/sp]
The Amazing Spider-Man: 8/10
It didn't feel like there was enough Spidey for me, thought that could be from seeing all the Raimi moveis too much. It also ended quite abruptly. Other than that, it was a solid movie for me.
Batman Begins 8/10 - Forgot about 90% of the movie so it was almost entirely fresh to me.
The Dark Knight 9/10 - It's been one of my favorite movies for a long time, rewatching it today was amazing because I can now see that the trilogy Christopher Nolan has made was not just three movies but are actually tied into one another.
So pumped for today, 5 hours 26 minutes until The Dark Knight Rises!
The Winged Beatle (I think that's what it was called. I can't quite remember to be honest)
2/10
This independent hour long documentary by YouTube user iamaphoney discusses the Paul is dead myth, the supposed connection between The Beatles and Aleister Crowley, and the theory that The Beatles are the four horsemen of the apocalypse, though it focuses mainly on the PiD myth. The film was so full of shit that it was almost laughable. There was incorrect information everywhere, like when the narrator (presumable iamaphoney, though he's never actually credited as far as I can recall) claims that this:

predates Abbey Road, the 1969 album featuring "You Never Give Me Your Money" which contains the line "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 all good children go to Heaven".
While this film was utterly terrible in terms of delivering true facts, it was actually kind of interesting to watch, which is why I rated it a 2/10. Despite my low rating, I'd still recommend it for die-hard Beatles fans.

well, that definitely sounds interesting
woah Ebert rated Dark Knight Rises 3/4 Stars!
He rated the first two 4 out of 4. This doesn't do good things for me since I relate to a lot of the things he says.
He gave Prometheus 4 stars out of 4 and it didn't really deserve it to be honest.
Bel Ami 0/10
Dark Knight Rises: 9.5/10
Absolutely superb film with only a few exceedingly minor faults that I can easily ignore.
The Dark Knight Rises: 10/10
Initial reaction?
The greatest movie I've seen in 10 years, if not ever. No, fuck you. It IS that good. There is NOTHING wrong with this movie. Zero things. Zip. Nada.
Ok this is just silly. It DOES have some things wrong with it. Every movie does. But it can be 10/10 even despite it. The same way T2 has huge gaping plotholes but it's still one of my all time favourites. The things wrong with the movie are made to not matter because of how well done everything else is.
"Lack of flaws" is not why I regard a movie highly. Give me a little insight on the experience at least.

How about tell us what's wrong with it and think it through.
And there's no "huge" plotholes in T2..
The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10
Having not looked up any sort of information about it besides watching a couple trailers, I was absolutely blown away. This is a 5-star film no matter which way you look at it. Definitely and deservedly among the best movies I've seen.
Hnngggh I wanna see it ASAP.

yes there are? [sp]following from t1, how did john connor send his own father back in time to impregnate his own mother? if the terminators had already sent the t1000 back in time to kill john, how could they have sent one back to retaliate to it? john would already have been killed.[/sp]
"Lack of flaws" is not why I regard a movie highly. Give me a little insight on the experience at least.
how about JUST GO SEE THE MOVIE?
Casino Royale
7/10
Dark Knight Rises 10/10
One of the best movies I've ever seen. The character development is so damn good, the soundtrack is flawless, and the story is just flat out amazing.

They're not plotholes, they're loopholes. It "technically" doesn't make sense, but in the mind of the movie, it's supposed to.
Now you're arguing semantics
Anyway, amended to 1 9.7/10. Here's my small Dark Knight Rises review

Basically; don't listen to what other people think. Go and see it for yourself.
Troll 2 - 10/10
watched Witness for the Prosecution.
the dude who plays Winston Churchill is awesome.
Genuinely awesome court flick, it's not the "long drawn out" ones that are around (even though I like them a lot), it's actually pretty intense and truly hilarious. Classic.
