uh that's like you know what I'm trying to do by watching this movie
Not a good place to start.
Got the Critters collection today, watched the first one. Wow. This shit is hilarious. I'm not even joking when I say this is probably the unintentionally most fucking hilarious horror movie I've seen in my life (the title for unintentionally most hilarious movie in general still goes to The Room, sorry). Who in their right mind considers small furballs with teeth to be scary? 1/10 as a horror movie. But by god, it deserves so much more as a comedy movie.
Horrible Bosses - 3/10 Not funny at all.
Horrible Bosses - 3/10 Not funny at all.
oh, really? but Kevin Spacey is kinda cool and then there is this sex-maniac Jennifer Aniston, I though it could be nice to see just becasue of that.
Spinal Tap - 6.5/10 Had a pretty good laugh once in a while.
The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10
Today I saw Come and See and it was so powerfull...loved the last hour of it.Why couldnt the first part of the movie be so good? On a side note; is Moneyball booring to watch?

Ex Drummer (2007) Belgian film about a musician who's relatively famous and looking for something to switch him back on again. He finds his thrill in 3 disabled misfits who need a drummer. The film is simply him destroying everything from the inside out. How far will they go in his manipulative game? I thought this film was tits. Very over the top and graffic. Very realistic.
Full Metal Jacket - 9/10 It's been so long since I've seen the movie I had forgot a lot of the phrases I shout at my friends while playing video games comes from that movie. Fantastic movie start to finish, a lot more depth then most movies when they portray war; especially Vietnam.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Far from being the "10/10 masterpiece" I hear people calling it (imo!), but still a p good film. The ending ([sp]Everything from Bats flying the bomb away to the credits[/sp]) was pretty phenomenal though! Also, i liked the [sp]Killer Croc reference hah[/sp]. 8/10 The Dark Knight (2008) 7/10 Batman Begins (2005) Haven't seen it in a long time, but it was decent, I guess. A bit forgettable/10 I don't like Christopher Nolan's films too much in general. Inception and Memento, two films of his that I really like, are almost entirely held up by the cool concepts they are built around, not really the execution as much. As for The Prestige, which I also like- David Bowie.
the amazing hipster-man (7.5/10) i had fun watching it. really, i wasn't expecting anything i hadn't seen before - and i was right in unexpecting the unexpected. it was just a typical, woah-bro-shit's-flying-at-your-face superhero movie. the actors really made the most of their roles, and i think they did a great job reviving the franchise. pretty good movie.
Prometheus 6/10 man, so disappointing.
Let me explain myself: it was a decent sci fi flick, but a disappointing "Alien" prequel. Lazy character development, half assed horror elements, falls right into the "movies you can watch if you don't have anything better to do" category. Don't forget it's a prequel to the "8th passenger of Nostromo" we are talking about here. It deserved something much better. The camera work was great though, I will give them that. It was a nice eye candy, but not much more than that. I guess I expected too much.
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Re-watched it because of the hints at the a new Hellboy possibly being made in the future. 7/10

Critters 2 6/10 It's official, Critters 2 has the most hilarious 'you-thought-the-villain-was-dead-except-he-totally-isn't-watch-this' moment in any movie. Ever. Forever. Nothing and I truly mean NOTHING is ever going to top THIS (starting at around 15:20)!
Kramer vs. Kramer Performances were top notch, but when you compare it to A Separation.. it really doesn't hold up as a movie where people suffer during a divorce...
Titanic(1997) 10/10 Really great document.
where was the killer croc ref?
when [sp]Joseph Gordon Levitt is visiting Bruce Wayne and tells him about the underground army Gordon saw in the sewer, Bruce Wayne goes "have you told anyone else about this?" and Jospeh Gordon Levitt says "Yeah and they asked whether he saw a gigantic crocodile as well"[/sp]

[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/6e/Severed_Ways_poster.jpg[/t] Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery of America (2009) An independent adventure drama film that tells a story of Norse explorers battling nature, natives and Christianity in North America in the year 1007 AD. It was written, directed, edited and produced by Tony Stone who also plays one of the lead characters.

While I expected the worst, this film turned out to be decent. I liked the idea and story but there's a few things that don't sit well with me.

The imagination that the vikings were metal-heads and the use of metal songs in the soundtrack.

The dialogue - It wasn't credible. And they used sound clips from some random Swedish movie with English subtitles to go with it - and this turned out really weird for me as I am Swedish. I literally had to take of my headphones when they were speaking to not get distracted with the completely wrong dialogue while reading the English subtitles.

The extremely bad and unauthentic interpretation of Norse paganism.

Terrible Video quality. It is said the film was recorded using two 'HD PRO digital video' cameras, but I couldn't find a 720p version of this film. There's not even a trace of such a thing.

The soundtrack was however really great and moving, (with the exception of the metal songs). Conclusion is that this was a shitty production of a film that could have been so much better. Also, if anyone knows where I can find a 720p version of it (or better), please let me know. :) [editline]25th July 2012[/editline] I'll give it a 3-4/10.
Also, if anyone knows where I can find a 720p version of it (or better), please let me know. :)
wasn't released in 720p, I have sources.

Executive Decision 7.5 / 10
Sophie Scholl (2005) True story about a group of treasonous students who print and distribute leaflets against the Fuhrer's third reich. Naturally they get caught which is where the film pretty much kicks off. The questioning and interrogations are interesting but its the trial where the full force of national socialism comes into play. The film is an excellent tribute to those who worked so hard to make a better world, shame it all got a bit fucked up. Heil Hitler/10
This Must Be The Place (2011) A really charming charming movie, but pretty slow. Some might get bored just because of the fact that it takes a while for things to happen. Sean Penn does a great job with portraying a lost, lonely and depressed rockstar. Worth watching. 8/10

He is a good honest actor who picks his roles carefully and has that respect but I can't seem to like any of his films. I always feel like I should like him so I might try this one out. U-turn was a film of his I hated, well, Oliver Stone's film.

Don't be close minded though! The movie isn't for everyone.
