The trailer did give the impression that there was a microphone directly in his mask.
Maybe Nolan panicked and increased loudness in production?
Machine Gun Preacher
9.9/10
Absolutely loved it
Not seen that film but it looks shit and Gerard Butler is terrible
Ive been on a vacation now for a few weeks so I haven't had access to a computer
but now I do have, so here's my opinion of some of the movies I watched recently:
new batman movie - it was pretty good but the plot was wayyyy too complicated for an average viewer
moonrise kingdom - i really loved it until [sp]the kid was struck by lightning and then the movie became all surrealistic and unreasonable[/sp]
from rome with love - well its not as great as the old woody allen movies but it was pretty funny and fun to watch, i cant understand why the reviews were that bad.
12 angry men (1957) - strong 9/10
I've only just watched so I'll probably have more to add later, but the way the intensity of the room was built and the mood shifted and changed really had me gripped throughout
That was a concious decision to both give him a large presence and so that the audience can actually understand him.
not seen the movie yet, but going by the trailers i've seen, i think as a creative decision it's nice. the series is surreal and giving bane a larger than life kind of feel makes sense.
10 Things I Hate About You
7.5/10. Stupid funny. Needed more of the black teacher. "Go to the office, you're pissin' me off."
Brokeback Mountain
7/10 gay
Easy A
8.5/10 Emma Stone
I got the first two on blu-ray.

I suggest you get both of them. I can't suggest Alien[sub][sub]3[/sub][/sub] yet because I haven't seen it.
"Alien" is a bit better than the second one, though. It's just more memorable, at least to me.
i got this :)

an arm and an egg
Saw Cyrus, 8/10
decent film
a thousand words - it was nice, but also kinda strange how from a comedy it turns into a weird drama
The life of others - 8/10
The Raid: Redemption - 10/10
Best action movie I've ever seen. Even puts the choreography in Ong-Bak to shame.
I like the score, too.
[editline]28th July 2012[/editline]
Only the 2nd movie I've ever regarded as 10/10, alongside Fight Club.
Troy - 3/10
Very bland and forgettable, not worth the 160 minutes this movie clocks. The film itself is pretty epic in scale, but it just feels so shallow. The characters are especially dull and despite the film's solid cast, none of the actors seem to put any emotion into their performances. The battle scenes and the duels are some of the films redeeming factors and make the movie just a bit easier to sit through.
All in all; a bland and hollow take on the Illiad, with too much drama but not enough impact.

as far as martial arts movies go, i much prefer ip man. the raid is good too.
The Dark Knight Rises: 7/10
Pretty good. It was way too fast paced for me, but it at least managed to keep my interest through 2 hours and 45 minutes. It was entertaining, nothing too special though.
I love that movie lmao.
The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Cut)
10/10
I decided to watch it for the first time since I was 13 or 14. Maybe it's because I haven't slept for an extended period of time, but as a film I find it perfect. The cinematography is amazing, the sets and prop quality is so high they make everything seem real (not in the least due to the fact that so much is practical and not CG), and the pacing just feels natural. I don't remember it being anywhere near as good as I think it is now that I've seen it again. Can't wait to start the Two Towers later today
Contact (After reading the book)
6/10
The movie is all in all pretty good, but if you've read the book, the movie is so much different, and not in a good way.
There's way too many changes that shouldn't have been made, and characters that were big in the book that never showed up in the movie.
For example, in the movie there's an entire crew of scientists that go through the machine. And in the movie there's only 1.
And in the movie, the "aliens" [sp]simply tell a very shortened version of the book part, i.e that the machine has been there before the aliens and that the same process have been going on for billions of years and then that's that. While in the book they proceed to tell Ellie more about the machines real engineers, and they give her a hint of a message in "Pi", which she then searches for. And the book ends with 2 very memorable lines that would've fitted in the movie.[/sp]
Read the book, it's honestly billions and billions of times better than the movie.

Haven't read the book, but I thought the movie was brilliant.
This looks like yet another occasion where people don't realise that the book and a movie are a different medium of expression.

"They missed out SO MANY SCENES from the book"
the movie was 2 and a half hours long.
Dark Knight Rises 9/10
Now, am done. My new life can start.
The movies i want to see have been seen. Now what left is life and the unknown.
Entertaining is something i will find in books that can give you knowledge of life or science.
Where should I point my sword thought next? Could be the unsolved facts of physics, or the experimental world of chemistry.
I have a whole world front of me, now its time for me to choose next path, the right path, my path.
Maybe the future as more movies ideas growth, I might return. For one more time...
Goodbye critics, enjoy something I might never do again.
Finally got around to watching Pulp Fiction. Holy fuck that was a good movie.

I'm aware of the different medium of expressions when it comes to books and movies, but this movie could've done a lot better.
And to the missing scenes part, even though it is 2½ hours long. They changed and cut out a lot of parts from the book. Things that made the book very interesting.
Trust me, if you ever find yourself the time to read the book, you'll know what I mean.

I've heard a lot about the book, I'll have to pick it up some day.
Thing is, I try to forget I ever read the book whenever I see the movie. Reading a book gives me a lot of personal visual experiences as compared to a movie, which is someone else's vision.
The book also deals with the Science and Religion part in a much better way than the movie. This is one of the things that made me disappointed with the movie. The movie kind of made the argument too "harsh" than it actually was in the book. And the alien part in the book felt so much more interesting. They talk a lot more about themselves and their activities. While in the movie they seem very vague.

Now I'm even more intrigued to get the book.
The movie's message didn't really feel "complete" but I'm still going to back the constraints that movies have. You can't stretch something like that out to 4 hours and lose the experience.
