The Thing (1982) - 9/10
[sp]The Thing isn't gone, right? At the end the black guy was drinking from the bottle that several others had used over the course of the film, and their infected saliva could have been on it.[/sp]

I'm fairly certain that that will not introduce the organism in to you. They have to use their tentacles and absorb you into them to reproduce your dna.
Yeah now that you mention it I can't think of that happening anytime in the film. Not sure why I thought that.
Dark Knight Rises - 7/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 9.8/10 or something
It was a really good movie all the way through, but it got REALLY engaging after the [sp]part where Bruce has to climb the pit without the rope. Also, I cried at the end when Alfred says he's sorry, in Bruce's funeral[/sp]

Anne was good as the catwoman too

too bad they were having some problems with the sound when I watched it (one or two speakers weren't working, so we didn't exactly hear everything), but they stopped being noticeable after halfway through. probably one of the reasons why I enjoyed the second half more.

Why so low?
Why so low?
Didn't think it was that great.
I enjoyed it, and it's definitely not a bad film, but it didn't really do anything for me.

It's funny how a 7 is considered 'low' for this, but at other times it's supposedly too high.

7 is disgustingly low.
No it's not.
Opinions man, ever heard of those?
my opinion is that 7 is disgustingly low

Just ignore them.
If it did nothing for you, then these people will bitch and moan but what they don't realise is that I don't care.

Yep. I'm not gonna argue over this, since it's pointless.
I saw The hobbit trailer(teaser?) before Dark Knight Rises started, and I have to say it kinda disappointed me. It nailed that LotR vibe perfectly though, just didn't really show anything. Hoping for a better trailer soon.
Also, The Hobbit is pretty much the only movie I'm looking forward to. Everything else seems to be shitty remakes of older movies (Total Recall, Judge Dredd, RoboCop).
7 is disgustingly low.
I rated the movie 10/10 and I don't think 7 is too low.
5 would be average so I don't understand how a 7 is low.
7 is "this film is good, you should see it, idk about a rewatch, you could skip it in the theater and wait for it to come out on dvd" for me. kind of the B+ area.

yeah but his 7/10 won't be the same as your 7/10
isnt that the general idea of a 7/10, though?
no
I saw Mirrors (2008), i'll give a 7/10 i liked it, also saw Mirrors 2, a solid 5/10 was entertaining to watch but not as good as the first one, needs more gore
Red Dragon
7/10
Hannibal
4/10

I was only joking.
And what a joke that was.
thanks bro i worked hard on it
Max Manus: Man of War
9/10
i watched the dark knight rises
while it was a very good movie, i wasnt that amazed. almost everything was already expected to happen, [sp]i figured he'd be robin 10 minutes after he appeared[/sp], even the only real plot twist [sp]the chick being a villain was kinda expected based on how nice she was acting[/sp]
i'd compare it to being as good as the avengers, slightly better because the avengers had too much comic relief, while batman was more serious and focused.
i consider 8/10 to be a fair score
I'd still put Avengers above TDKR.
Apocalypse Now: 98/100
Another great Francis Ford Coppola movie. Similar to The Killing, I loved how much effort was put into the lighting on each shot, especially towards the end. Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando both deliver great performances. Excellent film, I will probably re-watch it sometime.
