Horrible Bosses. 8/10 Holy fuck this movie is hilarious. Charlie Day made me cry and Jennifer Aniston smashed my Hotness Radar.
Babel - 10/10 Loved it.
a horrible script with horrible dialogue, excessive slow motion where it's not necessary, generally poor acting, and a tone too serious for it's silly premise even though it ends up being unintentionally hammy anyway. [sp]and at the end the joke is that barack obama is going to become a vampire hunter too.[/sp] just an overwhelmingly stupid, and also boring and forgettable movie dont watch
What, it wasn't even that bad. Plus, the way they mixed the story with history was rather good. If asked to give the worst, I probably give it 6/10. But it wasn't that horrible.
Heat 9/10 I love how they present this movie - you get 2 main guys, who are completely different sides of the law, who are very alike, both just trying to do what they call work. You get shown both of their lives and story in equal amount, and it doesn't force you to choose who you want to succeed. What are some other great heist movies?
Point Break
Ye I'd give Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter maybe a 6.5/10, I liked it but maybe just because it surpassed my expectations I thought it would be horrible but it turned out to be okay. Not gonna watch it again tho and yeah it's pretty forgettable.
no it really was that bad you are just wrong
you should have known it was going to suck from the trailers.
Bronson 8/10 That was great.
Into the Wild. 10/10. Gotta love the old guy. One of my favorite movies.
Dark Knight Rises - 8/10 It was good. I preferred avengers, but this film also had it's "Oh my god" moments.
I feel like TDKR didnt catch me off guard as much as TDK did That's what I liked the most about TDK was being genuinely surprised and impressed with a lot of shit that happened TDKR had its moments but they werent as numerous or as powerful. Still a great film.

TDK was good, and yes it was unexpected, but I can't think of any standout moments, probably because I haven't seen it since it was released, whereas with TDKR I can, although that's most likely because I just saw it.
the "magic trick," the truck flipping, joker making spears out of pool cues so gangsters could fight to the death, batman appearing behind joker in the interrogation room, just to name a few
the "magic trick," the truck flipping, joker making spears out of pool cues so gangsters could fight to the death, batman appearing behind joker in the interrogation room, just to name a few
The magic trick is the only one that I would have honestly remembered had you not said them. Nothing in any of the Batman films has given me the same feeling as the final third of The Avengers, although perhaps [sp]the police charging at bane's mercenaries[/sp]
Mesrine pt1 2008 Vincent Cassel is a personal favourite for me and he plays French bank robber and nutjob very well. The rest of the cast perform just as good but its let down by a jumpy structure which completely destroys the flow. The film ends with a pile of text telling you what happened next to the characters in pt1 which is a fucking messy way to end a film. TV movie? Not sure but with Casel reprising his role for pt2 I'll be watching that next. Worth a watch just for the performances but fuck the people who made it.
I liked ish that new twilight part 2 or whatever, wasn't as shit as the others tbh
For A Few Dollars More Easily a 9/10, Clint Eastwood is just amazing...
Mesrine pt2 (2008) More of the same, a meglomaniac gangster takes on the police until the final scene where you know from the start how it will end. Terribly made film with a first class cast. I hope the director and scriptwriter never work again.
Dr. Strangelove I feel like it has aged. The overall plot, some of the humor and the action scenes are great but I didn't enjoy it that much. 3/5
The Dark Knight Rises: 10/10 It was a 9/10 until Anne Hathaway Bent over the bat motorbike. But seriously that is one of the best films i have seen.
Ted - 4/10 The moments when it isn't being Family Guy are good. Unfortunately this is 95% of the time. Within the first 15 seconds they make a joke about Jewish kids being beaten up and I was immediately thinking "Oh this is what it's going to be like". Pretty much every joke can be summed up in a "X is like a Y" where Y is something offensive. People in the theatre I was in laughed like shit at every joke. But no one got the Airplane reference (Which is a direct copy of the dance scene) and laughed because it looked funny not because it was a decent enough reference. It's a movie made for dumb people who enjoy the moronic jokes of the recent family guys and lacks a plot of any substance. Heres pretty much every joke in the film - Oh its like that one celebrity - Oh its like that one racial group - Something about Drugs (AHA its a teddy bear smoking weed, am I the only person who felt like this came from Wilfred?) - Narrator at the beginning and end says a rude word - Something about hookers And that's about it. The Flash Gordon stuff was cool though. [editline]3rd August 2012[/editline] Also I don't think they could afford to have Ryan Reynolds say any lines whatsoever, so he just stands there. [editline]3rd August 2012[/editline] ALSO they make dumb pot shots at Justin Beiber and Taylor Laughtner in the film in REALLY out of place positions, just like so they could fit it in there to appeal to the audience. Way to many of the jokes feel out of place
Aliens 10/10 one hell of a fucking sequel

http://www.t.co/BlitznBeans It explains so much.
Trainspotting - 8/10 Not as good as I remember but still pretty powerful. Funny too.
Babel - 10/10 Loved it.
share the feels man :) [editline]4th August 2012[/editline]
Dr. Strangelove I feel like it has aged.
What does this mean? Is a 50 year old movie supposed to seem like it's made in 2012? I don't get why "too old" is a valid opinion.

Sometimes I don't understand reviews.

Exit Humanity - 8.5/10 Acting was dodgy in some bits but I liked it. "AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG"
Phonebooth 7/10
TDKR, 8 or 9 out of 10 It was cool and all but when Bruce was Batman his voice acting wasn't that great, during [sp]the scene where Mrs Tate stabs him, while he was yelling at Bane after kicking his ass it sounded pretty bad and could barely hear what he was talking about.[/sp] Also I already predicted the ending because in the beginning [sp]Morgan Freeman said that the autopilot was broke and only went forward, so that was pretty painfully obvious when he got the bomb and flew away (as long as you remembered that fact anyway) that he was going to live. I don't really like it when they just give it to you like that as it gives the feeling they don't think we're smart enough to get subtle things.[/sp] Overall great movie, I would watch it again.
