Next 5/10 Holy shit, the ending reeks of laziness.
Ted 7/10 It had some nice ideas and, what I liked most, avoided some cliches where I totally expected them, I liked that. But all in all it felt a bit ... shallow. [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] The Raid 8/10 I just like many movies from Asia that have some weird surreal vibe to them, I can't pin it but it's a "real" fee that just isn't present in most western movies and that's what makes them so surreal to me. (I Saw The Devil and Oldboy had that a lot) [editline]8th August 2012[/editline]
Next 5/10 Holy shit, the ending reeks of laziness.
I'm sorry but apart from that super hot girl the whole movie is a big steaming pile of shit.
TED- 5/10 It can be funny in some parts but most of the time it's just repetitive. The Raid-8/10 Great action film with a decent plot, some parts of the fighting looked fake.
Lovely Molly is 2012's hands down freakiest movie I've seen (so far) So i'll rate it a What-the-fuck out of 10 I also saw Dark Shadows, with Depp, man it's a cheesy movie but i loved it, Depp played the part very well All in all it's an excellent cheesy movie, will watch again someday, 7/10 I need some horror movies, any good 2012 ones? like SCARY GHOSTS and shit
The Empire Strikes Back 9.8/10 Everything about the film is... yes. Just yes.
Lost in Translation 8/10 the mood, the atmosphere, the realistic genuine dialogue lovely
Lost in Translation 8/10 the mood, the atmosphere, the realistic genuine dialogue lovely
I just got this, can't wait to watch it
Hunger Games - 7.5/10 I loved battle royale and the whole premise of teenagers forced to kill each other so I was really forward to watching it. Since it's a movie and they used already a lot of time for prelude I didn't really expect the whole game to be long and detailed. I didn't like it how barely anybody of the players was introduced. So you didn't really care for them. It would have been a lot better if they introduced them all (of course not possible with 24 players and ~2h time) and showed how they struggle during the game. I found it stupid how most of them died at the beginning of the game (you could barely see anything thanks to the shakey camera). Overall the game part was kinda weak. I ask myself why peeta didn't just kill the entire gang while they were asleep? I also didn't like how the makers of the show interfered with the game. They also never explained why that little girl kept helping katniss. Well can't say much about the ending. It was satisfying. One wants to learn more about the world though. I am looking forward to the sequel. Oh and I really liked Jennifer Lawrences acting. She really fits the role of a big sister. And dark hair fits her so much more than blonde.
Total Recall (original) 9/10 just awesome. I love almost everything about this movie. Total Recall (2012) 5/10 bad shot at a "different" remake. mostly solid cast, but lacks the charm of the original. also, it's fucking boring.
Prometheus (7.5/10) I liked it, but the movie just misses something... And too bad it didn't explain anything. And holy shit that [sp]tentacle raping scene[/sp]
Total Recall (2012) - 7/10 : Never saw the original but this movie was a pretty fun watch. I'd expect nothing more from a movie starring Colin Farrel (besides In Bruges, which was amazing) Hunger Games - 8/10 : Cool movie, never read the books so I could care less if it was a poor adaptation. It was good. I'm sure I've seen more movies in the past week but I got way too high last night to be able to remember.
Snatch 9/10 It's like a british Pulp Fiction, loved it.
Bourne Legacy 4/10 Fucking shit, fucking boring, shitty attempt to drag the series. Don't watch it. ONLY 1 freaking car chase.
Bourne Legacy 4/10 Fucking shit, fucking boring, shitty attempt to drag the series. Don't watch it. ONLY 1 freaking car chase.
the director did Michael Clayton which was awesome. I might really like this new feel of Bourne.
Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides - 4/10... What a fucking mess... Ian McShane was absolutely horrendous which was a total shock to me, they made him seem almost completely harmless... might just be because he wasn't calling everyone a cunt or a cocksucker though. Penelope Cruz was probably the only decent addition to the series, she has potential to be a nice companion character to Jack Sparrow... but she shouldn't have been introduced so late into the series as I really don't want any more PotC movies. The movie just rehashes sequences from the first three films minus any of the charm, that isn't to say that first three were all that great either save for 1 and maybe 2 but at that point they seemed to still care about making the films fun to watch. The action sequences were all snoozefests with overly loud music and way too much flash almost on par with Transformers. The only sequence that I even remotely enjoyed was maybe the mermaid stuff but in the end it only resulted in a hilariously shitty love story subplot. Overall, please end this fucking franchise already and bring back the swashbuckling pirating films of the 30s, 40s, and 50s.
I just watched God Bless America. I give it a 7/10. I was expecting more shooting.
Bourne Legacy 4/10 Fucking shit, fucking boring, shitty attempt to drag the series. Don't watch it. ONLY 1 freaking car chase.
Did the cameraman at least cure his tragic affliction of Parkinsons?
Birdemic: Shock and Terror 10/-7 Best film evaaaaaaar now if you excuse me, i gotta go wave a coat hanger at a bird
Did the cameraman at least cure his tragic affliction of Parkinsons?
Nope
yeah Michael Clayton was a kind of soothing movie so I expect it to be a LOT different to Bourne Ultimatum madness.
Waking Life (2001) 79/100 I liked the unique animation style and the film is overall thought provoking. But it didn't actually 'do' much for me as I've already been confronted with several of the philosophies that the movie was discussing. It was good, however.
Max Manus: Man of War (2008) True story about the man who led the Norwegian resistance against the march of Nazi domination there. National Socialism was Hitlers gift to Europe but the film's main character decides he wants to keep the monarchy and fight the Germans. We all know how the war ended but this tells the story of Norway during the war. The performances throughout are fantastic, especially from the actor who plays Manus. The Germans as usual are portrayed as they always are, darlings of a better world. I recommend this film.
The Dictator 6.5/10 Had some good laughs, but I just can't rate it more than that...
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 6/10 It's truly BEYOND me, it fucking BAFFLES me how the fridge part in KotCS is apparently the worst moment in Indy history when it comes to realism (disregarding the face-melting ark but that's magic and it kills nazi bad guys so that gets a free ride) and it, and KotCS in general, completely ruined the franchise forever yet nobody ever complains about the movie with 3 people dropping out of a plane in an inflatable raft, surviving that fall with no injuries or damage to the boat and dropping off a fucking MASSIVE cliff into a river with again no injuries or damage to the boat. Also, Willie has got to be one of the most annoying and useless characters I've EVER seen. She literally does fucking NOTHING. She doesn't contribute to the story, she doesn't say anything meaningful, she just. Does. Nothing.
The Hunger Games Well I haven't read the books but it's the usual, everybody is whining how they are better and yet I have no time, so I decided to go with the movie. Kids slaughtering each other, fun stuff. pretty brutal I must say. I liked the movie, but didn't enjoy the ending [sp] I wish they would've went with that poison berry way, that couple thing was too cheesy, I would've enjoyed seeing them as iconic tributes who stood against the rules or something like that. Liam Hemsworth's character (Gale) felt useless and with no point. It seems as if they tried to create that "love triangle" tension but it didn't work.[/sp] Pretty much it, I could be a nitpicky piece of shit and name every small detail I didn't like but that's just sad. I'll give it a 7/10

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - 8.5/10 I don't really know why, but I love this movie, my only real qualm with is how short it is. :v:
Good Will Hunting 9/10 perfect role for robin williams
Good Will Hunting 9/10 perfect role for robin williams
that movie has one of the greatest sad moments of all time in cinema history in my opinion
that movie has one of the greatest sad moments of all time in cinema history in my opinion
even with the constant swearing and cursing they still managed to make extremely funny and sad parts
