Interesting what seems to have happened with the new Batman film. From what I can tell, the fans went to see it first and proclaimed it as the finest film ever made and the casual audience seem to be saying its good but nothing special. Just an observation.
I'm not a big fan of the Batman or any of the superhero films but I'll be waiting till the bluray comes out.
No.
No, dude.
See it in theaters if you have the chance. It's like "Inception". It's just not the same watching it at home.
A good sound system and screen can be a superior experience than just a big screen.
For one thing, no annoying kids.
The cabin in the woods
8/10
Now that was something different.
The Awakening 2011 -> 10/10
Best ghost movie of 2011, it's so beautiful, i shed a tear or two. I think it's better than the Woman in Black, can't decide..
You guys gotta watch this if you love the genre
it's possible to enjoy a popcorn movie as much as a drama.
On the subject of popcorn, I love movies but absolutely hate popcorn.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
9/10
Can't believe I never knew about it before.

the sound is one of biggest reasons i go to the theater.
Orca: The Killer Whale 8.2/10
I don't know why people considered this a Jaws ripoff, it seems more of a dramatic revenge plot but with a whale instead of a man. It has the meaning that 'accidents can cause incidents'
I feel bad for Richard Harris. He didn't mean to kill the whale's mate. But he knew the whale wanted a eye for a eye
Taxi Driver: 98/100
Great movie, I should have watched this earlier. Robert De Niro was amazing, and the story was interesting. One of my only problems with it was that the music wasn't very fitting most of the time, and sounded kind of silly sometimes, especially at the end. Other than that, I'm glad I watched it.
Expendables 2
8/10
Great action movie, I enjoyed it a lot.

Sorry but it owns anyone who says otherwise is factually wrong
Scream: 8/10
Scream 2: 7/10
Never seen these films before, I'd seen Scream 4 at the cinema (and loved it) but that was about it. But I loved these two films, the original is far better than the sequel, with a load more memorable moments in it, like the "I'll be right baaaaack!" scene and that twist, making it a great movie. I think there could've been a lot of tiny changes to the script for Scream 2 that would've made the whole thing much better, like leaving the sequel discussion until later on in the film and maybe extending it by having the conversation with Dewie about the suspects perhaps immediately afterwards, things like that, but overall I really enjoyed both of them and would definitely watch them again in the future.
The Cabin in the Woods - 7.75/10
Pretty damn good. Not too fond of the ending, seems too convenient and weak. I like how it pulls off being scary while at the same time satirizing other horror, and having funny lines (notably Marty). [sp]Totally anticipated Jules hitting the barrier and I remembered the eagle hitting it at the beginning. I was snickering as he was preparing to jump over.[/sp] The dialogue in the control room during the sex scene was just brilliant .
Expendables 2: 6/10
It was okay, I never saw the first one (Not that even matters) but saw this one expecting more Arnie... Dissapointed, story was shit, Thor's Brother was the only one with somewhat of real acting and [sp]he gets killed off 1/3 of the movie in[/sp] and the CGI was rather shit for a movie made in 2012. Would have rated lower if not for Arnie. Bleh
Expendables 2: 7.5/10
It was good for what it was, mindless action.
Expendables 2: 5/10
Plot is pretty basic, action is pretty okay, but yeah, I agree with Ram, CGI IS FUCKING HORRIBLE.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows 8/10
The Dark Knight Rises 7.5/10
The movie was quite well and fast-paced at times and slow-paced at times. But the most confusing and irritating moments I didn't like was [sp]Bane getting killed[/sp], the ending, [sp]Talia's instant death[/sp] and why the Joker isn't seen in the film. Good movie though
why the Joker isn't seen in the film.
Maybe because the actor is fucking dead?
Hey Kritter, use some fucking spoiler tags, thanks.
It goes:
[sp]spoiler[/sp]
And becomes:
[sp]spoiler[/sp]
Clickable black thing that hides spoilers.
The Dark Knight Rises 7.5/10
great use of spoilers mate may as well just post the entire ending bro!!
Just saw the expendables 2 100/10 best movie ever made in human history.
High School 4.20/10
why the Joker isn't seen in the film.
Are you for real?
The Hunger Games 8/10
Now that I have read the books, I enjoyed the movie a lot more, and am looking forward to Catching Fire when it comes out.
Are you for real?
Heath Ledger didn't even turn up for the dark night premiere, how rude!
Irreversible - 2/10
No movie this fucking hellbent on being horrifying and disturbing has the right to be this boring, one-dimensional and predictable.
Oh and good work on the ending, Noe, you fucking retard. I bet nobody saw that one coming!
Who cares, at least I didn't direct I Stand Alone and Irreversible.
