What's the problem with foreign films?
What's the problem with foreign films?
They aren't in English..
What are subtitles?
hey rusty what do you think the best film of the year so far is i haven't seen looper yet but you seem to like it more than other films this year, i could be wrong
They aren't in English..
So?
I hope(not really) that he just has a problem with subtitles or something since ignoring movies based on them not being in a language that you speak is idiotic beyond words.
some people hate reading or are too slow a reader for subtitles. [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] I try to read subtitles as people say things, otherwise I'll read them too fast and it'll spoil it.
They aren't in English..
Wtf can you not read or something?? are you literally retarded and why the hell Is your avatar a fp'er thats fuckin creepy m8 [editline]1st October 2012[/editline]
some people hate reading or are too slow a reader for subtitles. [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] I try to read subtitles as people say things, otherwise I'll read them too fast and it'll spoil it.
how can you read so slow you can't keep up with subtitles if you can't then you actually must be literally retarded. unless its not your native language ofc that's a fair excuse
I generally dislike subtitles but I'm only annoyed by them when I understand the language spoken. More because I automatically read and hear the dialog at the same time than that they cover up a part of the screen. Otherwise I don't even think about reading them. Since English isn't my native language I'm used to them growing up. I can completely understand how they can be annoying if you aren't used to it.
how can you read so slow you can't keep up with subtitles if you can't then you actually must be literally retarded. unless its not your native language ofc that's a fair excuse
try watching A Separation. It's one of the more challenging ones to keep up with.
The Terminal. It was pretty fun following Tom Hanks' character. Aside from that, no big suprises or turning points. 6/10.
The Dictator 6/10 - Very meh, I got friends saying MOVIE OF THE YEAR...
no big suprises or turning points.
those are pretty rigid requirements for a movie you have, I suggest more M. Night Shyamalan.
The Dictator 6/10 - Very meh, I got friends saying MOVIE OF THE YEAR...
It was pretty funny, at least 8/10. Laughed all the way through.
I think you need to rethink your life.
The Fountain - 8.5/10. It gets more awesome the more you think about it. The philosophical context and the emotional appeal.
Constantine might be a decent enough action horror flick, but it's an absolutely horrible Hellblazer movie. They could have changed the names of the characters and it would have ended up having nothing to do with the source material.
My friend got a blu-ray player for his birthday yesterday so today we went out and got a bunch of blu-ray's (Mad Max 2, Machete, Friday The 13th, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness) watched Mad Max 2 and Machete today Mad Max 2- 8/10. Back before Mel Gibson became a crazy person he owned. Max was a proper badass character in this. Really cool film. I can tell Borderlands was strongly influenced by it which is cool. Machete-8/10 this was just ridiculous but I knew it would be. It was such a fun movie. Gratuitous violence and gore, a ridiculous plot, and some actually really solid acting. Great fun.
^Mad Max 2 is the father of Fallout 3 (Wasteland being the mother)
^Mad Max 2 is the father of Fallout 3 (Wasteland being the mother)
You mean Fallout in general.
^Mad Max 2 is the father of Fallout 3 (Wasteland being the mother)
I don't like this post
I don't like this post
well mel gibson can't be a mom..
Can someone link me to an imdb page of this "Wasteland?"
its not a film its the spiritual predecessor of the fallout games.
Adaptation: 9.5/10. I love this film so much, the story is absolutely crazy and it works because Charlie Kaufman is such a great screenwriter. Nicolas Cage is also really amazing in this as Kaufman.
End of Watch - 8.75 is gud mobie
end of watch was pretty good I'd give it a solid 8
Even though Evil Dead 2 succeeds brilliantly in being what it's supposed to be it's not exactly the type of movie that appeals to everyone.
it should be appealing if you have any semblance of taste because having a good taste means you're appreciative of all genres
