how about character's actions constantly contradicting their character, the plot making no sense, having nothing be explained, at all, just everything that could be sloppy, was sloppy.
and don't get me wrong, pretty much everything about Prometheus was top notch, and I enjoyed it, but the script was where it seriously fell apart. the script basically took a huge dump on what could have and should have been a fantastic piece of cinema

the plot quite literally fell to pieces. nothing at all made even the slightest bit of sense. it has nothing to do with the actors abilities.

Just emphasizing how I feel about it, it was such a fucking waste of time and my view of the world is bleaker as a result and I may just start indiscriminately killing people with a shotgun at the mall because this movie's shittiness pushed me over the edge.
Just kidding, but it was bad
yeah if I ever felt a movie was a waste of my time I'll be pretty crazy about it. Even the shittest film experiences I've had I've kind of appreciated, they give me a scope of how crap a movie can be.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And I share a lot of opinions that you do on movies/shows aside from the odd few, like Batman and this one
The only thing I can say is that it had great design and cinematography, who cares when everything else in and around it is bland and nonsensical?

but the acting was good (in most places). CGI was neat as heck, even 3D worked well. Soundtrack was good. To be honest I felt super immersed in the film at the cinema until it got about 20 minutes from the end when it became even sillier and their actions took me out of it.
Also one thing I love about the prometheus DVD trailers is it shows the Alien creature at the end of the film in them which made me laugh.
The acting wasn't that good, it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to consider praise worthy and definitely not anywhere near good enough to redeem the film

Yes it was a success when it first came out, but since then nobody talks about it, the movies is fucking huge. Compare to Lion king, little mermaid and so forth...
