yeah but there's nothing wrong with being wrong and crazy. :-)
ye there is
No reservations 2/10 Inaccurate representation of life in kitchen main character sings in kitchen and the other main character let her hair down while in service.
laurel and hardy box set is greatness. They have an option to see colourised versions but that's foolish..
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 6.9/10 average comedy. Is Steve Carell wasn't in the movie it would have been complete garbage. I don't usually watch these kind of movies, it was packed with clichès and incredibly predictable. But it had its moments.

Cashback 8/10 I like it when movies incorporate something cool like freezing time but it doesn't focus on it the whole time but instead it's more of the characters.
Looper: 9/10 One of the most interesting films I've seen this year, there was more to the plot than I had expected.
The Campaign - 8/10 Much better than I was expecting it to be. Zach Glafagkiks blew Will Ferrell out of the water, he was great.
looper 9/10. enjoyed the humor and their vision of the future which is why i was kinda bummed most of the second half moved out of the city
I don't want to sound like one of those guys, but isn't that point?
i don't know, it just bothered me slightly that it was clichè. The movie is generally just jokes and retards talking about shit that doesn't make sense, so it doesn't make much difference.
Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter 6/10 It has good effects and good sets and all and I know it is not serious but that is what irked me, the over the top action never reflected into the script of the movie. Another thing was that scenes were too disconnected, like after they [sp]caught will and they flee[/sp] they were suddenly on a boat and then in a church without any how and why's and that's how the whole movie is.
day of the dead 9/10 geez, that guy is a complete asshole. I like the take Romero did on the zombie genre, it focuses much more on the people's sanity during the zombie invasion instead of the zombies themselves. I prefer the other two, but it has it's charm.
Once, Fantastic movie, great relatable characters, lovely music, a really nice low budget film. It feels real. 4.5/5
Rewatched UP. It's the only movie to ever make me tear up within the first 10 minutes. 9/10 :(

saw Eureka didn't think I'll manage to stomach 3 hours and 40mins in one sitting, especially since I started it at about 11 at night.. but it was done.. The trick is a cup of coffee and an ultra level of comfort. I went into this thinking it would be a bit more positive than those "lives being destroyed" flicks that I always end up seeing. 5 minutes in, that thought was abolished. Then all you felt for the next 2 hours was pure sorrow for the trauma of immediate witness to deaths. A group of murders happened on a bus, the driver and 2 kids survived, their parents died. These kids were traumatised and clearly their lives and personalities altered. The bus driver seemed broken too, even getting dumb accusations thrown at him just like reality. Sometimes I feel it's in people's nature to willingly kill other people's joy, it's depressing to think about but true. Then this movie became a road trip film, and that's probably where people really started to deal with the trauma. Trouble is... this ultra norm cousin is travelling alongside them, I got sick of him immediately. Would piss me off having a dude like that around if I'm traumatised. Anyway he helped a bit... and then people changed for the worse and it started hurting. Gut-wrenching towards the end. One of the only movies I've seen completely in sepia too. Beautifully filmed, stunning shots all over the place. But those are menial when compared to real performances. It's a rare time when I'll call a movie a modern masterpiece. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] trying to figure out why the movie is called Eureka... maybe the Japanese have another meaning for it who knows.
Blue Velvet Pretty good overall. It was a little difficult to follow at first but that is because I wasn't giving it my full attention to begin with. My only real criticism is that none of the characters were very believable but maybe that isn't what they were aiming for.
I've not seen it, but it's a David Lynch film so I don't think believability is at the top of his list when it comes to making films :v:
Reservoir Dogs 10/10 - Never saw it before, popped up on Netflix. I've heard about it and decided to give it a watch. I really enjoyed it.

Last couple: Looper: 8.5/10 - very clever action movie. I loved how it set up Joe as a callous action movie protagonist and then almost went out of its way to show how this sort of person would be a terrible human being. Oldboy: 7/10 - kinda disappointed: I liked it, but I expected to love it.
That is on my list.
Have fun with Inland Empire.
Harold and Maude 10/10

Donnie Darko Directors Cut - 9/10 the directors cut scenes make it so much more meaningfull instead of letting the watcher figure and decide things out themselves
the dark knight still an 11 / 10 how in the fuck did that not win like every academy award that year university movie theater is showing TDKR later this week can't wait, will help me wait for bluray release. too bad university doesn't have an imax
The Valley of Elah same director as Crash. Liked it quite a bit, as a follow up to Crash I was eager to see it and it looks like nobody heard of it. Very worthwhile imo. This movie will definitely not get such a mixed opinion as compared with Crash. EVEN though I liked that a heck of a lot so my words won't mean much. It seems to be that as Tommy Lee Jones gets older, his movie roles get a lot better and more intense. Anyone noticed? In essence it's an crime/mystery film, but also very much an anti-war film about Iraq. Not as painful as say "Brothers" with Tobey Maguire, but still a really good one. Shame nobody knew about it. [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] also: this releases in 2 and a half weeks HOW did time pass this quickly? :O
I want to see Lincoln, but am I the only one who thinks his accent is pretty forced and unnatural?
his accent is pretty forced and unnatural?
That looks like judging acting from a trailer.. How about let's talk about that when the movie arrives.
