You really enjoyed it but it's a 6? That doesn't really match up at all.
Okay, 7/10 then? I mean, people exaggerate when using /10. 8 is fantastic, 9 is the best movie ever made and 10 is unacheviable because scoring a 10 means there is something higher then that.
Infection 8/10 Great J horror film go see it. The ending is a bit eeeehhhh though, but that might have to do with culture differences?
Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas - 9/10 why havent i seen this earlier
You really enjoyed it but it's a 6? That doesn't really match up at all.
maybe he's actually using a 10 point scale rather than a 4 point scale
I just use a 5 star scale. It makes it easier to grade movies. I have no idea how Ebert managed with only a 4 star scale though. Well to contribute, Dodgeball 3.5/5 Funny, silly, some nice moments. Not the greatest movie in the world but it's fairly watchable.
He probably only does 4 stars so people read the reviews instead of just looking at the score since only 4 options makes for a pretty uninformative scoring system.
The Sunset Limited Amazing. I didn't think a movie could be so good from dialogue alone.
Halloween (1978) I know I will catch hell for this one, but this is pretty much the best horror movie ever made in my opinion. If not that, then it is certainly the best slasher. Great soundtrack, great horror, mostly great acting. 10 out of 10
I dont think there been any horror movie that have scared me since The Grooke from Moominvalley...
Safety Not Guaranteed 6.5/10
when i was six
Kill the Irishman 8/10
I dont think there been any horror movie that have scared me since The Grooke from Moominvalley...
I can't actually remember the last time a truly scary movie was released. It seems to be a lost art.
Finally saw Apocalypse Now, definitely 9/10. Also a huge time commitment
Finally saw Apocalypse Now, definitely 9/10. Also a huge time commitment
try Once Upon a Time In America in one sitting then you'll know what time commitment is all about. :)
Nah, try the uncut version of Das Boot in one sitting.

Looking for a good action movie but I'm stumped. Open to any suggestions (no horror films)
Nah, try the uncut version of Das Boot in one sitting.
have already, was piss easy tbh. living inside a german sub looks fun. [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] oh nvm, I saw the director's cut which is an hour shorter
Killing them Softly - 8.7/10 really managed to develop the characters through intense, long and intimidating scenes if i'd actually had to look back, the movie looked like it existed out of 10 or so scenes. felt like a fully packed short story
Color Me Kubrick - 71/100
Paranormal Activity 4 - 8.5/10 [sp]I thought the ending kinda sucked. It was so sudden. Other than that, this was probably my favorite of the series so far, because it does a good job at setting an atmosphere unlike the other ones[/sp]
Das Boot is smalltime.
Just watch 28 weeks later again, I enjoyed it. not the best film but still enjoyable and I would really like them to make the third one, I mean they left so much opened at the end of it. 7/10
Cinema Paradiso - 8.7/10 Touching film.

No stupid kids doing stupid shit.

Literally every single bad thing that happens in it is because everyone appears to be mentally fucking retarded.
the kids are unlikable because its all their fault
watched looper for the third time, it's still as fantastic as it was the first time
Hostel Pt2 - 5/10
