Well, thanks. I like cars but I hate movies that are based around pimped cars and the like. Might give that movie a shot now.
drive owns everyone should see it its not at all about cars

cosplaying Ryan Gosling 24/7
Hopefully getting the Drive jacket for Christmas.
Skyfall - 9.5/10
A great story and a stellar cast, along with the smart direction of Sam Mendes, makes this a spectacular return to form. Seriously worth your time!
Argo 10/10
This might make movie of the year.
Drive 9/10
Honestly, the plot was great. The characters were really cool, especially the protagonist. I liked the style of the movie a lot, great camera work and colors. Besides the soundtrack is so ace, totally fitting. The pacing is a bit slow, although that did not bother me at all. The brutality is so excessive, but in a good way. The movie starts of quite slowly and relativly peaceful, but after the heist. Shit hits the fan and the violence is really gruesome. Usually I am quite accustomed to gore and tons of blood, but this movie shocked me quite badly. It was a great experience.
The only gripe I have is that the main protagonist must be really in love with the girl and his son, he does everything for them. Which is kind of irrational, seeing as they just met and well it is a bit odd. Nevertheless it was amazing.
What, you haven't heard of love at first sight?
Also, was it just me or did you think her husband was initially going to do something to the Driver? But then he turned out to actually be a good guy.
Still, he risked his life for a girl that he barely knews. Usually you are building up a bond when you know eachother for long and if you shared a long time together. Although that is different for everyone.
Yeah, at first I thought Standart Gabriel would be fucking mad, but he was quite cool about it.

I thought the same thing at first. He kinda looked like trouble.
The Blob - 8/10.
Good film, definitely well-made for the time. The effects you could tell were mostly miniatures and that's what I like, being able to see the creative process that went into it. The Blob itself looked fantastic, oozing everywhere, absorbing anything in it's path. What mostly set it aside from other "monster" movies of the time was that it was in colour, while it's other counterparts were still in black and white up to this time, helping it stand out. The supporting cast was pretty good, Jane fulfilled her role nicely, not playing the stereotype scared girl hiding away from the monster but trying to face it and see it for herself. Dave was also good trying to be the believer and actually had hope in the kids whilst still being doubtful. Steve was the most stand out though. He was the most likeable character from the rest, playing the young hero in the plot. It's dated, and heavily represents the 50's, making it a timepiece but it is still what makes the film even more enjoyable and I can heartily recommend this.
Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging - 5/10
I didn't like it but solely for the fact that it simply was not my type of film, it weren't horribly made and the acting was half decent. not to mention it's soundtrack was not half bad either.
Skyfall
6/10
It had strong scenes, but the pacing was totally off. There's very little action between the middle and end and often the scenes run on and to be honest, got me bored. Not to mention how hard it tried to recreate that classic Bond feel, it came across remarkably forced. They should have kept to the new, innovative Bond we saw in Casino Royale, because they had the cast and setup to pull it off. Pity.
[editline]27th October 2012[/editline]
and there was pretty much zero character development.
The Jackal
7/10, pretty slow but it had it's cool moments and that funny part when he killed Jack Black with that big ass gun
Resident Evil: Extinction(3) 7/10 - Not sure why I love these movies so much but I do. This was actually my favorite one so far, my only real issue was the crow scene.

they started going downhill with extinction imo (extinction being the least worst of the three newer ones, afterlife being a steaming pile of crap)

Haven't seen the latest one yet, but I thought Extinction and Afterlife were better than the first two.
Sinister - 5/10
It was an alright horror movie for the season I guess. It was almost sort of promising at the start (despite the stupidly unsubtle opening), and all the "home movies" were really well done.
But creepy kids with horrible makeup and some dude in a fucking Halloween mask from Party City? That was the best they could do?
-picture of rusty in his drive jacket here-
you'll get another one after halloween!!
Fight Club
my head is full of fuck
Cockneys Vs Zombies - 6/10
Fun to watch, nothing special
Some gore was really good, some was crap
If you just want to watch something silly that has zombies in it then this will do just fine
Also elderly people with guns was hilarious
Predators
7/10
Insidious: 7/10
No no no nnnonono this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen
No no no nnnonono this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen
i thought the idea was pretty cool. that "other dimension" thing had potential, and unlike other ghost movie crap in which they don't explain shit insidious at least made everything clear.
shame the actual movie is quite bad though.
First half was fine until astral projection and Darth Maul popped in
Rocky Horror Picture show 9/10
If you can see this at the cinema this halloween at a popular cinema
do it
its brilliant, incredible amounts of fun.
Safety not guaranteed, about a 7.5/10 I really liked it.
Bloodwork 2/10
Trashy movie.
