Carrie (original)
I need to watch both those films. and lord of war. unironically love nicolas cage (srs)
Everyone should watch Ghost Rider 2, its not good movie at all but its amazing. Cage fans will get what I'm saying.
Basic Instinct 6/10
Decent mystery (porn) movie. I've heard a lot about it, especially about a certain scene which is obviously the only reason why the film became popular in the first place. A part from some strong scenes and good performances It's really nothing special. And the murderer is blatantly obvious since the very beginning, since there are only a couple of suspects.
Taken 2. 3/5 stars, nothing special, got bored pretty quickly.
A good movie i recommend is 'Bronson' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172570/
My dad loves this movie because bronson reminds him of his youth (being locked up in psych wards, violence against police etc) and they shared the temperament.

Bronson was extremely enjoyable for me. 8.5/10 in my opinion.
The Road
7/10
meh
Skyfall 9/10
The only thing that annoyed me was [sp] when Silva get's captured, I predicted how and why he was going to escape and all that. I don't like it when I see that kind of thing coming.[/sp] That oh so minor thing aside, best Bond film in years. I liked it more than Casino Royale.
Mifune
The third dogma 95 movie. It's one of my favourite dogma 95 movies of all time, and it just always wakes certain feelings in me. T
he acting is outstanding and, and one can't help but relate to the main characters. Really recommended.
8/10
Blade Runner (final cut) 9/10
I didn't like it that much the first time I saw it year or 2 ago, but I bought it on Blu Ray and watched it again. Ended up watching it a couple times.
Love this movie
i didnt chuck is a bad show lol
Nah, man Chuck's pretty alright it even had a seriously great series finale.
But, I guess it's an acquired taste.
You have to put up with corny references to gaming and bastardized tech speak.
If you can look past all of that and invest yourself in the characters then you'd probably really like it.
i don't think i would like it because i watched a few episodes and the writing was really really bad
Depends on which episodes you watched. Some episodes of Chuck were truly abominable. Hell, the whole first season was kind of shaky, but the show really came into its own in seasons 2 and 3.
the whole thing is just a cheesy cringe fest
i absolutely do not care about chuck i will never watch it
Whatever chief.
Different strokes.
Oh yeah, speaking of Skyfall, James Bond chokes someone to death. While he is underwater. I shit you not.

chokeholds affect veins and arteries as opposed to the airway
Metropolis (2001) 8/10
Started out not really liking it at all, mostly because the artstyle looks so weird. But after a while it really grows on you, the pacing is really good too.
8 Mile - 6.5/10
It was pretty good. Been meaning to give it a watch as I'm a big hip hop fan, but it didn't suck me in as much as I thought it would.

I liked that film.
Looper - 9.5/10
Amazingly done, one of my Favorite movies this year.
I also think the time traveling mechanic was handled well.
What was that piece of shit called? Think it's "Poultrygeist" or something like that? My best friend is into shitty movies these days.
-1/10
I know, I know, it's supposed to be bad and disgusting and boy does it deliver, but that's exactly it. How is a movie that is intentionally bad funny? I don't get that. Bad movies are only funny to me if the producer thinks he's creating a masterpiece.
Would Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" be funny if he had said before: "Oh hi audience, dis movi is suppose to be badd. What a story, Mark." Not for me.
Hell, even if that had been the case, this movie tried waaay to hard to be funny by being bad. Even when it tried to be funny by conventional methods, it was still terrible. Not that I have a problem with disgusting, offensive humor, but this was just...I have no words. And this musical shit they threw in...I have even less words for that.
I know this a popular film, but I fucking hate it. Then again, I'm pretty much the opposite of it's target audience. It's like if a 95 year-old WW2 veteran reviewed Twilight.
By the way, "The Room": 10/10. Now THAT is a good bad movie.
Rosewood - 6.75/10
Pretty decent. The story is great, heartfelt. The editing is kind of weird at bits, and the acting is also unconvincing at some points. Narrative is great though.
taken 10/10
holy fucking shit
Seven Psychopaths
Great flick! Stellar performances all around, Walken especially.

I understand you can have your opinion. And compared to an AMC drama you're right. I find Chuck charming and was never a big TV fan until I saw it. It's one of my favorite shows but I understand where you're coming from.
I just don't get why there's so much hate for ALVH. It's an enjoyable mindless action thriller. Yeah I'm not nominating it for picture of the year but really it wasn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Of course you shouldn't go in expecting any sort of realism or Oscar-worthy performances. I may be wrong but the movie gave me the vibe of something that will be a cult-hit at some point.
Gonna rewatch it then watch the Evil Dead Trilogy for the first time ever. This should be good.

Serpico 10/10 - Had to watch this in my criminal justice class. Was thoroughly impressed with Al Pacino's performance. Loved the theme of the film as well. This film is pretty up there on my list.

2046 - 8/10. A writer in 1960s Hong Kong recounts the time he spent with three women over the years. Very artsy, definitely not everyone's cup o' tea. I kept getting angry at the main character at the decisions he was making, but only because I realized his actions reflected my own and I could now see how much of an asshole I was.
I finally watched Beowulf in class about a week ago. It was an excellent movie and the mix between acting and animation was really cool. I suggest watching the movie.
