Queen of the Damned-- 3/10 Ugh. Not worth it. Too much female partial nudity, those whores need to cover their skin! It's abhorrent! (I'm not muslim extremist or some shit, just disgusted by human females in 'sexy' outfits, or most any sex act involving them. Say hello to xxpoonyxx's alter ego, the depressive dick.)
I wish there was an ironic rating just for this post.
Yeah, I know. -Snip- Not sure what I was thinking. apologies.
Skyfall 10/10
Pai Mei is a fuckin' hilarious character by the way.
Hollow Man: 2.5/5 Some of the effects were cool, some were ridiculously cheesy. The story was alright, but could have been better. I would have liked to see more invisible man shit in the outside world. Also more invisible boob fondling was needed.
Back to the Future Part II 9.5/10
Casino Royale - 10/10 First Bond film I've ever sat down and watched all the way through. I've seen bits and pieces of at least a dozen of the past films, but never an entire one until now. I loved Craig as Bond, and the film didn't bore me for a second.
I've never seen a Bond movie. It it okay if I start with the Craig ones, or do you suggest it's better if I watched older ones as well to understand the characters? Are they films I can just pick up without knowing about James Bond?

I recommend watching some of the older ones, Skyfall has a few nods to them so it would probably improve your viewing experience if you watched them first.
Been watching/rewatching a lot of the studio ghibli films, today I decided I'd watch Laputa Castle in the Sky and like (almost) every other ghibli film I've seen so far I give it a 10/10
watch you only live twice since it has a secret volcano base

Primer 9.9/10 Really enjoyed it. Time travel is cool.
Moonrise Kingdom: What/What I laughed at parts but was really confused. The delivery of lines and the pacing were cringe worthy to me. Am I missing some theme or something?

yeah its not a confusing movie wtf [editline]10th November 2012[/editline] nor is it cringeworthy
Finally got around to seeing HP 7.1 6.666/10. The first two thirds were some of the most incredible filmmaking I'd ever seen. The action was nerve-wracking, the atmosphere built up an incredible sense of dread, and the emotion was perfect. Shortly after Ron shows up again, everything unravelled. The climax felt anticlimactic. They were setting up for part two, but they could have at least given us a satisfying conclusion to part one. I got two thirds of an incredible movie.
Brave, 7,5/10 For a Pixar film it was a bit disappointing, the plot was completely different from what I thought it'd be based from the teaser trailer. It was still a pretty good movie, the graphics are fucking fantastic and soundtrack as well. Some characters are quite likeable, but god were there some characters I wished they'd have just left off(them triplets, jesus christ..). The plot was a bit dull, but some scenes made up for it. It still reminded a bit of the troubling relationship I have with my mom, and that's why I cried a little at the end. Long story short, it's a good movie. It's no masterpiece like Wall-e and Up, but it's no Cars either. It's decent. Wreck-it Ralph, 7,5/10 A lot of people say this movie is a masterpiece and the greatest movie they've ever seen. While I do agree that it is good, it's no masterpiece. People are probably just so excited for all the game references in this movie and by the fact that most animation movies this year have been quite disappointing. The soundtracks used in this movie(and all other sound effects) were really good. The graphics and overall animation was really adorable, same for almost all the characters. The plot was alright, and the overall story progression decent. This was just one of those movies that are enjoyable to watch. This was no masterpiece either, but still good(maybe a bit better than Brave).
I was tbh expecting a big reveal where the war-mongering warlord was the princess's dad and the bear was I don't know, his dad or something, who had not actually died and wanted his kingdom back. Very enjoyable movie to watch with friends
Disturbia 6/10?
Body Of Lies - 7/10 5/10 movie but +2 for Simon McBurney's amazing diction and trying to pass off Mark Strong as a Jordanian and suceeding
"Gayniggers from Outer Space" - (proof of existence) Plot: 3/10 Effects: 2/10 Camera: 4/10 Creativity: OVER NINE THOUSAAAAND (User was banned for this post ("Meme reply." - postal))
Blade Runner 8/10 It was nothing like the book, but that isn't a bad thing.

I'm watching Quantum of Solace right now just because I'm going to see Skyfall today. [editline]10th November 2012[/editline] What is the general reason people don't like Quantum of Solace?
What is the general reason people don't like Quantum of Solace?
The camerawork among other things
Quantum of Solace - 7/10 The camerawork during the action scenes was pretty bad. Couldn't even tell who was chasing/shooting at who for most of it. Craig's acting was fine but it wasn't memorable in this film. The plot was okay, just not as interesting as Casino Royale's. But I have to say overall I thought it wasn't a terrible film, it was okay. If that's the worst Bond film, I'd say they've done pretty good for a franchise with about 2 dozen films. Does Skyfall continue an arc from the last one or does it start a new plot?
it pretty much starts a new plot
gonna see Skyfall and Argo in a row toniiiighhtt
argo's pretty good. really intense during the later half.
American Beauty 9/10 Thoroughly enjoyable, leaved me thinking.
