haven't seen Bronson yet, how is it compared to Drive? better, worse, or too different to compare?
gonna bag myself a copy soon.
They are both entirely different story wise and toneally. How can you really compare them in the first place?
But seriously, Bronson is great. Do watch it

Bronson is great... it won't be for everyone obviously, but it's pretty crazy.
Need to see more of his films.
i dont know how many times i gotta say it

refn fuckin owns but valhalla rising kinda sucked. so fucking boring
Wreck-It Ralph - 8.5/10
I actually saw this quite a while ago. I don't know why it took me this long to come up with a fucking number.
refn fuckin owns but valhalla rising kinda sucked. so fucking boring
Watched it with 3 friends and we all fell asleep :v:
Eventually got through it, and while good acting and beautifully show, it's one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. I have nothing against slow movies, but this one was just too much. The lack of dialogue annoyed me, and how the characters would just sit around and do absolutely nothing in pretty much every scene.
most boring movie = The Brown Bunny
cept the end
Red Dawn Remake: Crying Bald Eagle/10
The Watch - I give Richard Ayoade 10/10 in this, love it with slow motion shots of him whipping out guns and bringing out magnum large condoms.
Actual film, eh it was alright 5/10
Argo - 8/10
that last half was soooo intense and had me on the edge of my seat
<3 ben aflecks beard
Jurassic Park (for the millionth time)
10/10
I held off on watching it again for a while, so I could watch it as 'fresh' as possible. Still looks as great as ever. Certain scenes are kinda starting to show their age though, mainly the brachiosaur scenes (first CGI shot in the film, and the sneezing one later on in the fim). Also, in some parts of the kitchen scene the cuts between the animatronic/suit raptors and the CGI ones were a little too obvious.
Still my favorite film ever though, so I don't really mind.
Also, I was surprised to see an old goof was still present on the Bluray version: when the raptor first opens the door to the kitchen and you hear Tim say "It's a velociprator" you can see a hand grabbing the raptor's tail to wiggle it a little or something :v:.
-You know if you wanna get laid, you really don't have to pretend to be interested in the pyramid scan. I mean, you could just say, Hey, I'm trying to get laid.
-I could. I could say that, right? But then it wouldn't make sense why I would fly myself half a billion miles from every man on Earth if I wanted to get laid, would it?
-Hey, uh, Vickers.... uh vickers... I was wondering...
Are you a robot?
-My room. Ten minutes.
-well if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with... love the one you're with
8/10. i don't care if it dragged on and shit. i thought of it like as a shoutout to the entire genre ridley scott practically made, plus a shitload of fanservice.
i mean is that asian guy the same one from sunshine?
Lincoln - 8.5/10
Thaddeus Stevens was just awesome.
The Expendables 2 - Twilight for men/10
The special effects were terrible, the acting was bad, and the story was even worse. WTF is Chuck Norris doing in this movie? Why is he in the same place as the rest of the guys? Why could they fight 100000 guys at the airport but not save[sp]the sniper guy[/sp]? Why does Sylvester Stallone sound drunk all of the time? Why can't I understand what anyone is saying? The whole thing felt really cheap and stupid. A cash in for old action movie fans. The actor allusions were funny at first but a lot of the ones towards the end felt really forced. "Yippie kia mother fuckers" really? The action felt like a Call of Duty fragmovie. At least it wasn't boring I guess.
I think you're missing the point of The Expendables. :v:
Cabin in the woods.. 4/10
the whole movie was just a clusterfuck of what the hell is going on with cliche horror bullshit, and then they pull a random scifi twist to try and get out of the hole

I think you might have missed what was going on. The movie was designed as a complete parody of the state of the horror genre, and a rather blunt statement about how pathetic and formulaic it has become.
They're more or less showing a loving tribute to great horror movies of the past, but simultaneously saying that the horror genre DESPERATELY needs to break free of the very conventions and cliches that Cabin in the Woods put on display.

Good to know it wasn't all serious, I thought it was just another cash cow in the horror industry
you must be a literal retard to think that
The Man From Nowhere - 4/5 worth a watch. Great action sequences and decent plot.

This comes across, ironically, as satire.
I Melt With You, 4/10
Melodrammaaa. Wasted talent. Movie had potential then it started getting really fucking weird and took itself way too seriously. Started it at like 2am and by the end I was left confused and creeped out by the entire thing.

Wow...
I was thinking about it, the Red Dawn Remake really wasn't bad. Maybe 6/10? I don't know, I enjoyed it.
