Being John Malkovich 9/10 that was crazy
The Wicker Man - ?/10 I gotta say, I actually enjoyed watching this movie with a friend. It was pretty funny and the majority of the dialogue and scenes made hardly any sense. It's like they shot the whole movie and released it without even watching it once to see if everything made sense and was coherent (directors often lose perspective of a first time audience after having watched it over and over). Without Nicolas Cage, it probably wouldn't have been worth watching. In summary, watch if you enjoy Nicolas Cage yelling
just watched brave and the adventures of tin tin brave was okay (the trailers were kinda misleading, then again they never really provided that much info other than "changing fate"). it wasn't amazing as most pixar films are, but it wasn't bad either the adventures of tin tin was amazing. the CGI team deserves so much credit and recognition; while I absolutely fucking hated tin tin as a character, the captain made the movie
Watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil yesterday 9/10, fucking hilarious. see it. if you have Netflix streaming its on there. [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] it has Alan Tudyk which should be enough of a selling point for anyone
Killing Them Softly 9/10 loved the filmwork, loved the sets
memento 9/10 pretty confusing, got really close to getting lost a couple times, but i managed to keep everything in order great fucking movie guy pearce is a dreamboat
Pumping Iron Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno Rating: 7.5/10 This rather humorous 1977 bodybuilding docudrama is a fantastic movie. It focuses on the 1975 Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia competitions. It also features Arnold smoking a joint at Lou Ferrigno's birthday party while wearing a shirt that says "ARNOLD IS NUMERO UNO," which is fucking awesome. Whether or not you're into bodybuilding, this movie is hard not to enjoy.

Lawless - 8/10 It being based on a true story instantly gained my interest. The movie itself had a wonderful story, done well, but it was fairly slow paced at times.
Face/Off - 1997 Pretty good movie, good story. 7/10
I would actually watch all the Twilight movies but only with my friends. I watched New Moon with people that actually liked it so I didn't make jokes during the movie. Seriously, you can make so much jokes but I didn't want to piss anyone.
why would you have friends that like those movies [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] just from a technical standpoint of how poorly made they are i wouldn't be friends with a person that enjoyed that let alone what the movies are about
Wreck It Ralph -8/10
that is not the title of the film
Oh wow, oops. Sorry, I'm just really tired today, lol.
The Adventures of Tintin(2011) - Will leave a premanent smile on your face and kiss your eyes with visuals Huge smile/10
Solaris 8/10 I found it rather confusing at the start, it started to make sense as it progressed. The ending was perfect.
I need a good science fiction movie, might give Solaris a shot. Although I want a space opera kind of movie.
Primer 7/10 My head is fucked now
I need a good science fiction movie, might give Solaris a shot. Just steer clear of the prequels and try and see the original editions instead of the special editions.
Just steer clear of the prequels and try and see the original editions instead of the special editions.
i don't mind the '97 special editions, the only unnecessary changes (imo) being the pit droid sequence right before they hit mos eisley and jedi rocks (scene was fine, should have just been lapti nek as it's clearly the superior song). oh, and the emperor's scream from rotj being put into esb when luke falls from the platform. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?
I saw Boondock Saints 8/10 because Williem Dafoe
The Amazing Bulk 0/10 Holy shit why did I let people talk me into streaming this hunk of shit.
Thinking about seeing "Super" soon. Anyone have an opinion on it?
Watch it, and be amazed.
saw a couple Duane Hopwood. Basically the dude from Friends (Ross) got a starring role in a film. What's good here is that he breaks away from the character that was locked onto him and he managed to deliver a genuinely great performance. It's a pretty depressive film, the guy is divorced and has a poor drinking problem. His life is in a mess and it's clear he has wrecked it all and there's nothing that can be done. Unlike what I expected, which was a "light-hearted" load of crap with the dude from a popular TV series, I actually got a genuinely good obscure flick. David Schwimmer hands down is the best actor from that cast. He directed a film called "Trust" which I need to see, it's apparently pretty damn good. Saw a FOOD DOCUMENTARY too. But this is genuinely worth a watch. Jiro Dreams of Sushi. Even though I don't eat sushi, never have. This doc made me feel an awe for it. Unlike all the other crap on TV that make it out as though chefs are more passionate than they actually are, here you have a genuine example of dedication and mastership. The dude's 85 and manages to thrive in making the greatest sushi that exists. Worth watching in HD too, literally makes your mouth water. :-)
No Country for Old Men - 8/10 I liked the movie a lot. I love it when a movie takes its time, and this movie sure does.
Thinking about seeing "Super" soon. Anyone have an opinion on it?
less campy version of kick-ass [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] i liked it better than kick-ass
Iron Man 2(2010) - Tony Stark/10
