I thought he said he never really liked the fantasy genre so probably not much
inception wasnt as spectacular as everyone keeps making it up to be, and after waiting so long to watch it and getting all these praise about how ~deep~ the movie is it just contributed to how much anticipation i had while watching it to me looper at the very least felt like a good movie, inception was trying too hard to be fast paced and an action thriller when its not
I wasn't hyped at all for inception, went to the cinema randomly and got blown away by it. Maybe your expectations were sky high? I can understand people that don't find it as amazing as it's said to be, but 6,5 cm'on. By the way what do you mean by it's trying too hard to be fast paced and an action thriller when its not?
Happy Feet 2 - 4/10 Good for a kids movie I guess but... it wasn't really all that great. Best part was the cute baby elephant seals and penguins, omg.
I wonder what Rusty would think of The Hobbit...
He probably wont see it. I can't say I will either.
i dont typically see movies directed by known hack frauds !!!
Just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was fantastic. There was so much meaning put into so little words. Definitely 9.5/10, if not the full ten.
Hellboy, 8/10
Schindler's List, ~9/10
Man Bites Dog: 8.5/10 Probably one of the best found footage movies ever made besides Chronicle
Flight - 7.5/10 Good story, good acting, but a decent amount of scenes were totally unnecessary and dragged on too long
Drive. 10/10. my new favorite movie ever, hands down.
Savages: 2/10 Feels very generic, and I could only watch the opening scene. As soon as she made that "Wargasms" joke, I popped out the disk, and spent the rest of the night watching Pulp Fiction, AVP, and Ghostbusters.
Captain America: 6/10 It was an okay action flick. I have always had a huge amount of unwarranted hate for Chris Evans.

I just didn't like Savages, I tried watching the rest of the movie and got bored out of my fucking mind. I shut it off like, 73% into the movie and just started watching Delta Force.
avp is a guilty pleasure of mine. As a movie it's rubbish, and I recognize that fact, but I just love seeing aliens and predators in action.

[editline]18th December 2012[/editline] savages sucked but avp sucks way more sorry dude
one of these things is not like the others... [editline]18th December 2012[/editline] savages sucked but avp sucks way more sorry dude
I just like the gore affects. Makes the movie watchable.
terrible
avp is one of the worst films I've ever seen
It's a pretty bad movie, but not the worst I"ve seen. That award goes to Bio-Dome.
Worst one I ever saw was army of the dead
avp is one of the worst films I've ever seen
as bad as Alien 4?
worse
Super Troopers - 8~/10 Great laugh
Interview with the Vampire (1994) - 9.6/10
The Social Network (2010) 8.5/10, a pretty nice movie
as bad as Alien 4?
Alien Resurrection has three things going for it: a nice R rating, Ron Perlman, and the infamous "kill me" scene. AVP has nothing.
Looper 4/5 The story doesn't really make sense at all but it's not like in Prometheus where the characters are retards. The oddities in how timetravel works etc was kind of necessary for the story to work.
