I wasn't hyped at all for inception, went to the cinema randomly and got blown away by it. Maybe your expectations were sky high? Just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It was fantastic. There was so much meaning put into so little words. Definitely 9.5/10, if not the full ten.

Eh, it was ok, definitely not the best film, but you're kind of giving it some undeserved hate.
I just didn't like Savages, I tried watching the rest of the movie and got bored out of my fucking mind. I shut it off like, 73% into the movie and just started watching Delta Force.
avp is a guilty pleasure of mine. As a movie it's rubbish, and I recognize that fact, but I just love seeing aliens and predators in action.

The story doesn't really make sense at all but it's not like in Prometheus where the characters are retards. The oddities in how timetravel works etc was kind of necessary for the story to work.
