Rewatched the Godfather 9.5/10.
This is kinda off topic, but while watching I noticed something strange in the funeral scene, so I went back and sure thing, there's a fucking face superimposed on the image where Michael gets up and covers the screen with his suit. Went to my computer and seems I'm not the only one that has seen it.

Bet it was just an error during post-production, but damn that shit was creepy.
what the fuck
Prometheus - 7/10
The writing was pretty bad, and there are a hell of a lot of logic gaps, but it was still pretty entertaining and very well made.
The_Marine just had bad opinions, its not bad but its not amazing.
Jack Reacher 6 or 7
i feel like i'm being generous with it...
it felt that way...it had its moments, but tom cruise tried too hard to be something he's not...
people think it's tacky to clap at a cinema, but i think it's nice. :)
I'm going to talk about the one time I ever experienced clapping in a cinema(and high-pitched squealing and giggling)
It was 2 years ago and I was going to watch RED with my dad, so we were queuing up for tickets when this godawful asshole cuts the queue in front of us, so I ask him, "Sir, would you mind?"
And then his reply was certainly out of the ordinary, he said, "Why do you want an autograph?"
Then I realised it was a famous local actor, a Mr Tay Ping Hui, ugrings from other people in the queue could not get him to move to the back and wait his turn. Long story short, me and my dad got out tickets and then we went into the cinema, guess who I found seated beside me?
Around ten minutes in, the kill-team comes for Bruce Willis, when Mr Tay begins hyperventilating, like he's so awfully excited, like a kid opening his christmas presents(this is a poor analogy, I don't celebrate Christmas) Then a bit further in, John Malkovich apppears at his hideout and then Mr Tay begins fucking clapping, CLAP CLAP CLAP
About halfway into the movie, when fucking Malkovich shoots the rocket mid-flight, he begins squealing, the best descriptions would be a sound akin to what a dog with a chewtoy stuck down his throat sounds like(Snatch.) A lot of incoherent laughing and squealing later, we arrive at the part where Malkovich arrives at his personal armoury, lifts a Swedish K Submachine Gun and then, IT STARTS AGAIN, Mr Tay starts clapping, laughing and squealing all at the same time, holy shit, what's so funny, is he laughing at the gun, or is he laughing at the Swedish? I guess I'll never know
I suppose you can guess what Mr Tay was doing as Helen Mirren opened up with a M2 Machine Gun on those Secret Service agents. At this point, people behind me were urging Mr Tay to shut up.
Then movie ends, YEAHHHH YEAAAHHHH more clapping
Seriously, man, I have never seen anyone behave like that and never want to again. I can understand clapping at the end and the start, but throughout the movie?
Summary: I got my movie experience for RED ruined by this guy

THIS GUY
Got so many Blu-ray movies for christmas.
Dark Knight Rises - 8.5/10 (My favourite movie this year, great conclusion to the series)
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship - 8/10 (Still holds as being one of my favorites of all time, but the added scenes in the extended addition did make it feel dragged out at times)
Also got the Alien Anthology box set which is fucking amazing. Packaged in a beautiful hardcover boxset, includes Alien 1 2 and 3 as well as Resurrection, plus 2 discs of bonus features. Also each disc comes with the theatrical and remastered versions, as well as commentary from the directors which is great. Alien looks so damn good in 1080p and they did a really good job with porting them all on blu-ray. highly recommend any Alien fans out there to go buy it.
RED is a bad movie anyway
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
7/10
pretty movie, really cool special effects for the dream sequences. the music coulda been stolen out of the pockets of the tightest cardigan on the block but it fit the ambiance well. the story has a good message and had an end that wasn't completely sappy, which I appreciate. from the the first fifteen minutes i thought it was going to be Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist 2: Die Harder but nope I was pleasantly surprised
and a refreshing performance from Jim Carrey that didn't make me want to introduce a red hot poker to my ear/eye sockets
that was nice
Les Miserables
8.5/10
I'm a fan of musicals, as well as Les Mis in particular. It delivered.
[sp]Russell Crowe wasn't that fucking bad jesus christ[/sp]
how is the '71 Andromeda Strain?
Django Unchained 9.5/10
Really, really fucking good.
The soundtrack was beautiful, and I don't think vengeance has ever tasted so sweet.
The soundtrack was beautiful, and I don't think vengeance has ever tasted so sweet.
the whole movie was beautiful, one of the best looking all year
tarantinos cinematography is great
i didnt see it but les mis looked well done aesthetically from the trailers
I really want to see Django.
Problem is I'm on vacation in Italy and dubbed movies suck donkey ass.
the whole movie was beautiful, one of the best looking all year
The costume production was sick, just like Inglorious

when your joke costume looks fucking awesome you know you're on a roll
[sp]he rocked the Candie suit too[/sp]
django unchained - 9/10
i think this is QT's real masterpiece, i'd put it as his best and even better than inglourious basterds.

Jamie Foxx is a good looking motherfucker in any clothes
he could probably have been dressed up as a full force circus clown and still been badass

nah I still enjoyed basterds more but that isn't to say this movie didnt come super close
mainly because I didn't feel any scenes in IB were unecessary or dragged out. DU owns but some scenes felt like they coulda been trimmed a bit
[sp]mostly the scene with Tarantino in it and the dinner pre-Candie rant. just didnt meet the tension of the Basterds pub scene.[/sp]
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Objectively 4.5/10 personally 6.5/10
This is a guilty pleasure, it's bad enough to riff but still just good enough to enjoy a few things along the way.

I agree. People are being too harsh on him, as usual.
jackie brown
6/10
was cool, but it didn't really make me think 'that was pretty good'
more like just, 'cool'
Really now? I think it's one of his most underrated films
The Claim (2000) 8/10.
A prospector sells his wife and daughter to another gold miner for the rights to a gold mine. Twenty years later, the prospector is a wealthy man who owns much of the old west town named Kingdom Come.
A damn good Americana film about five characters and their changing lives as the transcontinental railroad makes its way through California. Milla Jovovich was damn nice.
