Savages- asdf/10 (8/10, the movie was freakin' awesome and I don't know why, but I almost cried at the end ;_;)
Evil Dead 4 - 7.5/10
excuse me
The Raid: Redemption - 8/10 Amazing choreography, action, gory as hell and just plain entertaining. However, I found it lacking in variation, but I can't really say that I didn't expect it. Overall though, great movie, I recommend it highly.
Savages- asdf/10 (8/10, the movie was freakin' awesome and I don't know why, but I almost cried at the end ;_;)
i nearly cried at the end too because it was so fuckin offensively bad

Looper: 10/10 I'll admit I'm just coming down off the high of watching the film, but I didn't pick up any real flaws.
I'll admit I'm just coming down off the high.
you want a medal
people who watch (good) movies high make me sick to my stomach
you want a medal
Wait what? I wasn't LITERALLY high; I'm talking about the brief emotional high you get immediately after watching the movie. How did you twist "High off the movie" to "high on drugs?"
my bad [editline]1st January 2013[/editline] but really who says that
my bad [editline]1st January 2013[/editline] but really who says that
I thought it was a reasonably common expression :v: Guess I'll have to be more careful.
Django Unchained - 9/10 Fucking awesome.
people who watch (good) movies high make me sick to my stomach
why exactly?
RED 8.5/10 Great cast, great jazzy soundtrack, cool visuals, snappy dialogue - I like it. It kind of reminds me of the style of the Ocean's 11 movies. My only gripes are that Morgan Freeman is underused and the bad guy's plot is a little odd, but it more than makes up for that. This movie's fun.
why exactly?
... because your mind is in a heavily altered state and you should experience the movie how it is meant to be experienced, sober. ??? [editline]1st January 2013[/editline] that and its just plain obnoxious
Looper 10/10? RED 8.5/10? You guys wouldn't know a good Bruce Willis film if it hit you in the face
Cloud Atlas Really liked some of the story arcs, the future story arcs was on occasion pretty bad though. Didn't like the overhanging story arc either. I give the movie as a whole a weak four out of five.
Uh sorry about evil dead 4, I don't read back through my posts often - it was evil dead 3 army of darkness and around 2am. On that note: Back to the future 1 - 8/10 I finally got to watch it in all it's glory, the other times didn't count because it was either half way through the movie or about to leave. I wish there were more time travel movies to watch.
Cloud Atlas 9/10 Amazing effort considering how hard it must have been to adapt the book to film. They did a good job and I enjoyed it a lot, the only thing that bothered me was the make up. I would advice everyone to read the book if you liked the movie, it's still a bit better. Also seeing the movie once is probably not enough.
robocop 8/10 it was amazing imo
Looper 10/10? RED 8.5/10? You guys wouldn't know a good Bruce Willis film if it hit you in the face
Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction
twelve monkeys was willis' best performance.
Boyz n the Hood 7/10
Don't think I've ever rated this one here. Real Steel: 8/10 A good family movie with fantastic special effects and sound design, let down a bit by some spotty acting and relying too heavily on cliche at times. Not a classic, but a good time and a surprisingly decent redemption story.
Just watched Jack Reacher because my family convinced me to go. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting; I can't say Cruise fit the role of Reacher portrayed in the book, but then again I'm not usually anal about those things so whatever. 7/10 I guess, decent action scenes and not a terrible story, but nothing incredibly memorable either.
Looper 10/10? RED 8.5/10? You guys wouldn't know a good Bruce Willis film if it hit you in the face
scuse me resident Bruce Willis fan here RED was kind of mediocre but looper was great what are you trying to say?
George Harrison: Living in the Material World Halfway through this so far 10/10 Can't help it Harrison is my favorite Beatle
Here comes the boom 6/10 It's ok if you want a laugh or two, it has it's moments, don't expect anything amazing if you go see it, within the first twenty minutes of the film you'll most likely be able to ascertain what is going to happen throughout the movie, and even guess the ending "twist" if you can call it that. The whole movie is pretty generic aside from the MMA thing, there's literally a musical piece that sounds like it was ripped from some comedy sketch that made fun of the musical pieces in movies like this. I'ts ok, nothing special.
Going into the city tomorrow. Should I see 'Life of Pi' or 'The Impossible'?
Should I see 'Life of Pi' or 'The Impossible'?
i want to see both so i can't help you
