the wire is good but Oz is way better. it is the best tv show of all time. [editline]6th January 2013[/editline]
You can't get away with moaning about that after the inception thing.
??? what inception thing [editline]6th January 2013[/editline] oh you mean as far as not answering questions goes? there's a difference between a purposefully ambiguous ending than none of the plot making sense even before then.
Iron Man-10/10 Iron Man 2-8/10 Thor-3/10
i like the wire
Dredd, 8/10 I don't know what not to like? The stories simple, but for what the movie was? It was great.
Dredd, 8/10 I don't know what not to like? The stories simple, but for what the movie was? It was great.
I thought it was fantastic, if I didn't try and compare it to everything else Dredd.
Hitchcock 8/10
Aladdin 8/10 so enjoyable
"The Thing"(1982) I forgot how visceral this movie is. Really I think the effects are more nauseating than any CGI could ever be. 9/10
Iron Man-10/10 Iron Man 2-8/10 Thor-3/10
fuck i hit the agree button cuz of the iron man ratings but thor is not 3/10 you turd.
The Hobbit - The Eagles sounded like Hawks 0/10 worst movie ever.
Dredd - 9/10 The best display of ultra-violence since Kill Bill. And this guy's face... ...just seals the deal.
Dredd - 9/10
The special effects were quite vivid too.
Only thing that really bugged me about it was Anderson didn't wear a helmet. [sp]I know it was handwaved at the beginning cause it interferes with her psychic stuff, but then how could she read the mind of the other judge through her helmet?[/sp]
it doesn't block it out completely just makes it harder
Only thing that really bugged me about it was Anderson didn't wear a helmet. [sp]I know it was handwaved at the beginning cause it interferes with her psychic stuff, but then how could she read the mind of the other judge through her helmet?[/sp]
I didn't question it [sp]I loved it when she reversed the black guys vision in his dream to Ma-ma chomping off his dick, that made me laugh, and get a weird boner.[/sp]
The Hobbit 8/10
The Hobbit 8/10
Dude, we've already gone over this
The Hobbit - The Eagles sounded like Hawks 0/10 worst movie ever.

Only thing that really bugged me about it was Anderson didn't wear a helmet. [sp]I know it was handwaved at the beginning cause it interferes with her psychic stuff, but then how could she read the mind of the other judge through her helmet?[/sp]
I thought that was a hilarious yet clever way to justify why the hot chick isn't wearing a big helmet Just watched it too and I really enjoyed it Had a bit of a grindhouse feel with the ridiculous violence, but also felt a bit like Drive at times (not exactly the same but it's hard to describe, that music video-ish quality, not sure how to put it better). I really hope they make a sequel because it set itself up perfectly for it and Dredd definitely seems like a character that they want to develop more
I watched a bunch of films over the holidays, here are a few: Dial M for murder 11/10 (New favorite) The producers 10/10 Throw momma off the train 8/10 Grapes of wrath 9/10 Dr. Strangelove - 10/10 Dr. Strangelove was incredible, Sellers is a very good actor he pulled off his roles very well.
I cannot wait for Dredd. I couldn't make it to the theater when it was running (my car was busted) and I feel really bad that it tanked. As soon as it hits RedBox, though, I'm grabbing it and watching it with all my red-blooded buddies.
A Serbian film I'm not even going to rate this, the only thing I'm going to leave this off with is that this is singlehandedly the most fucked up, disgusting, vile and disturbing movie I'll ever see, though I enjoyed every minute of it. I cannot express the words I was feeling while watching this movie, all I can say is that this movie will probably be in my top 10 for shock value alone, and again how fucking disturbing, dark and fucked up this is.
but thor is not 3/10 you turd.
same, its at the very most a 2/10
Iron Man 2-8/10
holy christ no
the wire is good but Oz is way better. it is the best tv show of all time. .
You like Oz better than Breaking Bad?
What's The Paperboy? Anyone seen it? Why is it so popular? Seriously, I never understood those indieish films which get bloody popular in like Cannes/Sundance Film festivals
You like Oz better than Breaking Bad?
I dunno dude I think they're pretty equal
I dunno dude I think they're pretty equal
I'll check it out. I've never seen an episode or really heard anything about it, so that surprised me.
Hellboy 8/10 A nice adaptation. Quite a few things were tweaked from the comics but it all worked out well. Perlman was excellent. The CG hasn't aged very well but the practical effects still look very nice.
What's The Paperboy? Anyone seen it? Why is it so popular? Seriously, I never understood those indieish films which get bloody popular in like Cannes/Sundance Film festivals
I treasure them for going away from standard formulas alone even if they are the biggest pile of shit ever. And The Paperboy had a certain positive melancholy that I really really enjoy.
I couldn't really get into Oz cause it was a little too bizarre with the constant monologues by Harold Perrineau. But, I haven't seen it in quite some time so I might try it again soon.
of course oz is a little bizarre it's a 90's hbo prison drama with more rape than you can poke a dick at but it is so good
