Imagine how much better Ridley Scott's historical-esque movies would be if he actually followed history properly
Wait, the first Cube movie, right?
Yeah, I only watched the first one. I think its explained more in the 2 sequels, but judging on their ratings, I'm not sure they are worth the watch.

However, Cube Zero (as the title implies) is a prequel to the first movie and goes back to the cool things the first movie did. The second movie turned the traps into really strange futuristic traps, while Zero goes back to those awesome sorta-mechanical traps.
Gangster Squad 8/10- entertaining if you're into bullets flying everywhere* and Emma Stone
Somebody on my facebook feed said that Django was utter bullshit.

Django Unchained, about a 9/10
Death Proof 9/10 would be a 10/10 if I shared QT's foot fetish but really this movie was fucking great, I loved the characters and the very clear difference between [sp]the two packs of girls[/sp] and kurt played a great dbag, it also has one of the best car chases I've seen in a long time (even if it was pulpy and ridiculous) and it was stylish to boot tied with Reservoir for my favorite Tarantino can't believe he thinks its his worst one, that award goes to [sp]Kill Bill vol. 2[/sp]
Don't talk shit about Kill Bill Vol. 2
just because he says it's his worst doesn't mean he thinks it's crap.. I think Reservoir Dogs is his worst. You'll all get your asses in a mess until you realise I still love that film.

Interview with the Vampire - 9/10 Made me feel a bit uncomfortable at parts, and it was a tad long but I felt it was very well written. I plan on watching it again sometime.
Premium Rush - 7/10 Better than expected.
Mama - 4/10 lol don't watch I seriously don't understand why it gets good reviews. I know not to trust reviewers, but how could they be so wrong? The entire movie's one cliche and predictable jumpscare after another, with horrible pacing to add. My friends and I were making fun of the movie nearly the entire time. I'm glad it's the director's first movie though, he showed some potential and'll probably get better if he understands his flaws, because the plot wasn't horrible. I wanted to watch Django :( [editline]19th January 2013[/editline] It's not good on an entertaining aspect either, half of the movie is [sp]the little girls sitting in their room smiling at something (Mama) offscreen[/sp]
in regards to the kill bill vol. 3, QT has stated before that he wants vernita green's daughter to get older as it is set to be at least ten years later, when the daughter is old enough to exact her revenge on the bride. basically, the whole premise comes off the line thurman gives, saying that when the time is right and if the daughter wants her revenge, she can get it.
Uh yeah he did? he straight up said he was gonna make more during this interview.
Yeah but that was like 3 years ago. He also said he wanted to do Double V Vega. http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/quentin-tarantino-kill-bill-vol-3-james-bond/ And postal I'm still mad at you for not believing me when I said [sp] Sigourney Weaver [/sp] was in Cabin in the Woods so HARUMPH
Don't talk shit about Kill Bill Vol. 2
real talk i fucking love that movie you aint tryna catch this hands hombre
I seem to have gone on a George Clooney movie marathon. From Duck till Dawn - Hilarious. Stupid. Vampires? Yeah, sure, why not. Salma Hayek was hot as shit. Loved it. The American - I can see why people wouldn't like it. It was pretty borderline artsy-fartsy but I still thought it was a good watch. The gun construction scenes were awesome. Michael Clayton - I've seen it before but I couldn't remember a ton of details about it so I gave it another watch. It's a good movie.
Dredd -9/10 Excellent, underrated film Six Shooter- 8/10 Short film by the director of In Bruges, won an academy award. Pretty nice and compact but I felt the sound editing could be better [sp]I had no idea the gun had discharged when he dropped it and just thought the was too lazy to pick it up ro something[/sp] so yeah louder gunshots
Who Framed Roger Rabbit 10/10 You guys may lynch me but I think that this deserves a sequel, especially with the rebirth of TV animation that happened after the first one came out.

Fuck it, I'll leave it. :v:
Up in the Air, The Descendents and Syriana are also some good ones.
I still need to watch all of Up in the Air. I'll watch Syriana later.
I still need to watch all of Up in the Air. I'll watch Syriana later.
Also Burn After Reading.. damn that film was good.
tron legacy 8.5/10 really pretty effects and a pretty good storyline, but generic protagonist bonus half point for the daft punk soundtrack
Watch the extended versions! They sure are a treat.
Holy shit, Saruman's death is amazing, why the hell did they cut it out of the normal cut?? Also, when Frodo fights the giant spider he uses that glowing light vile thingo. He was given that as a gift, which is also only seen in the extended edition. Weren't people confused when he suddenly had it?

The Phial of Galadriel being given to Frodo in Lorien is in the Theatrical cut too
I saw Zero Dark Thirty, it was really good I think, pretty dramatic, good acting, good camera work, it was really all around a good movie. People here will likely go all "The Hurt Locker" on it and say it was average or terribly boring or overrated, but I think it was a good 8/10.
Django Unchained Every three years or so theres a cinematic event thats head and shoulders above the rest, Tarantino releases a film and we all cream our pants but sadly its going to be another 3 years till the next one. You always go in fearing the worst, surely this man is due to make a turkey after a run of amazing films and every time you come out grinning. The black comedy is there with Chris Waltz, the blood and gore flow like a period and the characters shine like the black skin of Sam L Jackson who is absolutely fantastic. Was there a weak link in the film? Character wise I'd say no but maybe there was a couple of scenes that would have normally been relegated to the blu ray deleted scene section but that by no means ruins the film. This is a film that I highly recommend but you don't need me to tell you that anyway.
rubber 10/10 main character is resilient as hell and the story was gripping.
