apparently Hugo is one of the VERY few movies truly worth seeing in 3D. :(
Yep. I heard that too. I wanna watch it in the cinema in 3D now.
Anyone know of any movie with a actor/actress known to be in light hearted movies being in a dark movie? Amy adams? Has she done any more mature roles?
Bump. So far, I could only find Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Anyone else?
Bump. So far, I could only find Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Anyone else?
The Mist. The crazy religious lady is in a ton of kids movies.
Bump. So far, I could only find Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Anyone else?
Adam Sandler in Reign Over Me, not exactly a dark movie, but not as happy as his usual films, though I have only watched a few parts of it
True Grit 7.5/10
True Grit 7.5/10
Which one?
apparently Hugo is one of the VERY few movies truly worth seeing in 3D. :(
I thought it looked like shit. Didn't add anything to the movie whatsoever. On top of that the movie is bad.
Mission Impossible (the new one by brad bird and jj aberdasm) 7/10 The intro scene was fucking brilliant, but the rest failed to catch my attention. The movie theater hot dogs were much more satisfying.
What's with all the disagrees?
What's with all the disagrees?
I think everyone here loved that movie
I think everyone here loved that movie
Red Tails was better. [sp]i'm seriously serious about this[/sp]
Forrest Gump 8/10 Can't believe I'd never seen this before. Great movie.
Forrest Gump is one of my top 10 favorites, I need to watch it again
Safe House 9/10. Pretty original scenario but the general plot is (only slightly) generic. Good fight choreography, and I like the suspense it created. The gunfights were done quite realistically too which is something I enjoy - no Stormtrooper marksmen, people fired and the bullets went into them.
"Ghost Rider, The Spirit of Vengeance is a sequel nobody asked for, to a movie that nobody saw. It tells the story of terminator 2, but stupider." I now love half in the bag
enemy at the gates 7/10 Was very interesting, and I liked how they weren't afraid to bump a character off, but the love interest was really unneeded.
I've got the "Box of Chocolates" blu-ray pack. The blu-ray case is in the shape of a box of chocolates and it comes with a feather and shit.
Shit? Awesome.
Hard Candy - 8/10... Darkly funny, Ellen Page is really a great actress.
apparently Hugo is one of the VERY few movies truly worth seeing in 3D. :(
hugo isnt worth seeing at all
Watched .45 with Milla Jovovich and Angus Mcwhat'shisname. It started off really good. Then it got really shitty near the end. Script couldn't hold it's own.
Haven't watched smokin aces, but what's so amazing
watched J Edgar. Good movie, I'd give it a "not too high rating". Eastwood delivers a really watchable movie yet again, that man simply knows quality cinema. Anyway, if you are interested in historical politics, investigative behaiviour and as well as a different type of Dicaprio.(he's homosexual in this) Then by all means see it. If you're not, then don't go by me liking it. Worth watching. The movie takes the character and delivers his story both in his early and later years. It gets kind of heartbreaking too.
Billy Madison 6/10 the jokes were too "lol random!!!" or just too forced.
Which one?
The Coen brothers', 2010
Pitch Black - 8/10 Considering I've watched it 3 times now and I have a mancrush for Vin Diesel I had a hard time not giving it a 10/10.
Pontypool - 9/10 I would have rated this movie a 10 had the ending not been so anticlimatic.
The Great Escape ~ 9/10
Red State 3/10 Could've been pretty good, but some weird (stupid) decisions made it pretty bad.
No Country For Old Men - 9/10 Fantastic, the Coens' best work alongside Fargo. Clever and smart without being obnoxious and self-congratulatory, subdued without being dull, simple without being stupid.
