Office Space - 8/10 Fight Club - 9/10
Misery 8/10 Been a long time since I saw a movie this suspenseful. The actors were simply perfect, especially Annie. I wish there were more movies about Stephen King's books. Because the ones I've seen so far have been amazing.
Se7en, Fight Club, and Misery were all fantastic.
because its unfunny
Nah, you just don't realize it's one of the best black comedies ever, that's all.

Keen to see that movie now.
Keen to see that movie now.
Do it. Its a good movie. Do you guys think that I should watch The Artist even though I have never seen a silent movie before?
Do it. Its a good movie. Do you guys think that I should watch The Artist even though I have never seen a silent movie before?
Hmmm well you liked Citizen Kane, so at least you're not biased. But it wouldn't hurt to see "Modern Times" or "City Lights". [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] more towards City Lights due to it being more necessary.

a few do say it isn't necessary but I grew up with those silent movies. Not as in I'm 80 years old, as in I had them on video. :) The Artist is a tribute to a great genre of movie that faded away.
The Godfather, Part III - 7.5/10 At what point did Al Pacino's voice get gravelly?
The Godfather, Part III - 7.5/10 At what point did Al Pacino's voice get gravelly?
It wasn't. That movie was only a few years after Scarface no? His latest "You Don't Know Jack" is probably the best performance by him in a long while.
In Bruges 9/10 Remember the first time i saw it and before i saw it i thought it would be another "meh" movie... turns out i was pretty wrong!
We Need To Talk About Kevin 8/10 was good
Nah, you just don't realize it's one of the best black comedies ever, that's all.
I'm pretty sure you enjoyed the film because you knew it was directed by Stanley Kubrick and not because it was funny
I'm pretty sure you're wrong LOL.
I'm pretty sure you enjoyed the film because you knew it was directed by Stanley Kubrick and not because it was funny
I didn't notice that it was by Kubrick when I saw it, but I still enjoyed it.
I'm not even "that" much of a fan of Kubrick's either. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] I enjoyed a few of his smaller movies like Paths of Glory than FMJ. That's just me.
Truth be told though, Strangelove really is overrated. Good, but overrated. Strangelove and Eyes Wide Shut are his weakest films. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Still like both of those. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Just don't love them.
i like them all except strange love, and eyes wide just was just okay.
Midnight in Paris 8/10
Midnight in Paris 8/10
Another thing, why was it so short?
Hancock - 6 Not very good overall and a really bad ending.
That film was entertaining up till it turns out that the guy's wife was an alien type thing as well, one of the shittiest fucking twists ever film got really terrible after that
Finally got around to watching Drive. 8.5/10 It was pretty good. The story isn't anything new or particularly exciting and it was kind of predictable but it was really well shot and the soundtrack fit perfectly. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] I watched the trailer after watching the film and god damn am I glad I avoided it before.
That film was entertaining up till it turns out that the guy's wife was an alien type thing as well, one of the shittiest fucking twists ever film got really terrible after that
yes, that disappointed me, the movie had potential (I could see Hancock turning into one of these iconic characters if the movie ended up being good)
Is "As good as it gets" any good?
