Am I the only one who doesn't really care for Liam Neeson on this website? I mean he is just so dull and monotone in his performances.

He adds depth to otherwise emotionless lines.

Miller's Crossing 8/10
Probably my least favourite of the few Coen Brothers movies I have seen but that is in no way a bad thing. Loved John Turturro as Bernie.
Drive
10/10
Holy cow this was an amazing movie. The beginning hooks you in strong, then just as you think that things are gonna slow down, they don't. There was neigh a dull moment in this movie. Definitely recommend if you like heist/crime movies, action movies, thrillers, even romantic movies to some extent.

Okay that was pretty awesome.
21 Jump Street
8/10
I don't think I went 5 minutes without laughing.

I set my standards pretty low for it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it.
21 Jump Street
Pleasantly surprised, was assuming it was going to be completely devoid of humor.
7/10.
From the trailers I thought 21 Jump Street was going to be some half-assed douche bag comedy.
In the trailers it seemed like Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum were acting like the people I would avoid in high school but from seeing so many positive reviews I might have to actually check it out.
ITT: 6 straight pages of 21 Jump Street. I might have to go see it to see what the hell is so good about it for myself.

It's just good comedy
Jack and Jill was pretty funny (8/10), although I like all the Adam Sandler movies.
On the contrary, I disliked - no, hated Toy Story 3 (1/10). It shouldn't have even been made to begin with; it's been a decade since the first came out and the people who watched that either aren't going to watch this or are going to have to deal with the somewhat adult-adapted humor. I didn't want to see [sp]the damn toys being given away[/sp] either. The whole plot consisted of a dark intro going into an even darker ending. Nothing interesting or new about the movie, aside from the part that the whole damn thing is a bunch of depression. It's a real disappointment coming from Pixar, although they haven't really gone too big with any of their sequels, save for Toy Story 2. That also kind of suffers from what all the other Pixar sequels do, but only to a much lesser extent.
[editline]March 20[/editline] Looks like I don't have a good taste in movies.
haha good one m8

For some reason i can't watch this kind of comedy. My "Oh God" branded Cringe-meter is just calibrated too low it seems... and it takes a lifetime to calibrate a brand new one.
Unknown was kind of poor imo. Liam is always good to watch, but he's the only reason to see that movie.
The inception scene was the best.

Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)
Starring Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, and Robert Englund
Rating: 6.5/10
It was alright. I really like the NoES franchise, and while this wasn't a great movie, it was alright. I thought that the concept was amazing, but the movie didn't execute it all that well. I don't know, it just didn't seem as good as it could have been. It was nice to see Heather/Nancy back one last time. Same with John Saxon. But again, great concept, poor execution. Also, it needed more Johnny Depp. Wes Craven was too scared to ask him, though he later said that he would have done it had he been asked.

Did you lower the score from a 9 to an 8?
You should lower it to -10.

I found the first half of the movie pretty decent, it had me fixed to the screen the whole time. The second half and the twist were disappointing.
Pi - 6.9/10
the number 23
4/10
Jim carrey wasn't funny enough
Beyond the Black Rainbow 8.5/10
I'm not sure if I like this movie or not, I need to watch it again. I haven't felt this conflicted about liking a movie or not since I saw 2001 a space odyssey, which has become my favorite movie.
Yeah I need to watch this again.
After much thought and research I now love this movie.
Just watched the Illusionist 2010 and I'm not sure what to rate it just yet but man did I love it.
The brilliant hand drawn animation is spectacular. Just beautiful to watch.

Punch-Drunk Love - 7.3/10
Shawshank Redemption Favorite movie/10. Every time I watch the movie I am amazed by a different scene. Everything about the movie just shines of perfection.

the other one that guy made. the triplettes of belleville or something like that is even more awesome.
belle was more of a kooky feel good romp with excellent music. the illusionist was about.. well.. disillusionment and how the world is constantly moving on, also its ending is beautifully sad.
Safehouse: 7/10.
Great special effects, good acting, scripts were lame at some times, and the movie was quite predictable.
For instance (no major spoilers, but still, its shit that happens in the movie) [sp]When he has to go to the stadium with the fugutive, I knew he was gonna lose him, obviously don't go to heavily crowded places.[/sp]

Les Triplettes de Belleville was awesome. I watched it in French class, time well spent.
World's Greatest Dad
Can't describe it. It's so emotional.
9.5/10.

That ending for me was so especially sad. I'll be sure to check out The Triplettes of Belleville.
I'm assuming the animation is unreal in this one as well.
