Flags of our Fathers, 5/10, I've seen better war movies, this one was just.. well, entertaining.
The Grey 8/10, my brother said it was bad for some reason. The whole movie I didn't understand why until the ending. I didn't mind, but since he's the type who has to look away or make a bad joke during genuinely emotinal scenes I'm not surprised he didn't like it.

Movie also prompted me to watch some survivorman :v:
A film class with people who hate B&W?
Either you're very bad at lying or you might wanna get out while you maybe still can.
Lots of people take film classes to slack off, not out of their appreciation of movies.

seeing movies with those kind of people would dent the experience.

I remember watching Night of the Living Dead for the first time, about 12-13, all by myself.
One of the best decisions of my life.
Especially if the movie is SUPPOSED to be exciting and tense.
For example, the teacher pulled "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", his favorite movie, from the "films to watch" list because of all the negativity it got.
The highest star rating out of 10 it got from all thirty students was a 3. A fucking 3.
I feel bad for you son.
I got 99 problems but a film class filled with retards ain't one.

Perhaps it was the terrible remake? :v:
There's film class in America?
What the fuck you lucky bastards.
My film class teacher showed a bunch of obscure clips and shit. I can't recall any good movies.
Canada, dude.
Technically Canada is a part of America.
The only difference is that Canada has a French tinge to it.
In my film class we watched Adaptation and the Matrix. We also had a project where we got to analyze a movie of our choice and my group chose LOTR so I sat through the LOTR extended editions for a whole day with my friends.
I saw The Grey. It wasn't much of a "survival" movie like it was advertised, but instead it had a very underlying philosophical theme regarding life. I thought it was a pretty awesome movie, but definitely a downer.
If they tried anything they did in that movie in real life, they'd be dead the first night.
I thought about taking a film class in college, but I didn't want to be stuck with retards.
Good thing I didn't take that Star Wars philosophy class either...
City of God - 9.5/10
An extremely thrilling movie. Filled with action, plot twists, lovable and dislikable characters, and un-predictable moments. It's a crazy (and sad) movie, and it's awesome. [sp]I felt awful when Li'l Z shot those two runts, and even more awful when Z had Steak kill one of them.[/sp]
I hate Li'l Z.
21 Jump Street
Rating: 6/10
I liked how they had at least some backstory to it, as well as a sensible plot and funny scenes. However, I hated Jonah Hill's character with a passion, finding it really unfunny. It also seems like this has been done before. Overall, meh.
Super 8, not the last movie I've watched but still,
5/10 - It just seemed like there was no story to it at all, the trailers and articles made it seem like it was all about this monster from a lab escaping or something while that is barely even talked about.

He was more funny when he was fat
Moon
Rating: 8/10
Very impressive movie, one actor and one actor only does all the job, and he does it very well. Though I would've liked to know how the fuck they made [sp]A few thousand clones to run the facility[/sp]
Drive
Rating: 9/10
Very good movie, it's been a while since I felt that much tension from a movie itself.
If they tried anything they did in that movie in real life, they'd be dead the first night.
The survival techniques weren't really shown/explained because it wasn't the main focus of the film.
The Sum of All Fears - ohgoddatnuke/10
Lord of the ring marathon - nine and a half golden apple of then ten popcornstars.
it wast so bad as i thought it would be.
Ghostrider 2
6/10
:I
Hunger games
8.5/10
Dazed and confused
7/10
I watched it very high at like 3am so I was a little confused on exactly what was happening. I know it had a cool ending, and it had some funny parts. I also found the stereotypical stoner dude really funny :v:
will watch again

Was it like a PG-13 battle royale?
Was it like a PG-13 battle royale?
Slightly, When you see the little children getting slaughtered the people swing at a medium camera angle and then blood spray, Then the child corpses fall to the ground.
The older people get messed up more.

Was it better or worse than BR story-wise?
Haven't read the books so i don't really know.
