The Woman in Black: 9
It kept you anxious. I didn't quite get the cold water down the spine feeling that everyone claimed they got from it, but maybe that's because Amnesia prepared me (along with giving me some confidence). Some of the scares were cheap and predictable, but the story was very creepy and sad and kept me interested. It also didn't pull that "here's someone getting tortured; you must be scared right... now!" bullshit. Overall, the movie was very tasteful.
Also, please tell your girlfriend or wife not to laugh hysterically and kick my seat when they're trying not be scared; it gets annoying. And tell your significant other not to wear jewelry when they hold your hand. My wife damn near cut my hand open with her wedding ring.

That's another good play in the theatre.
It's funny both that and Warhorse were made in the same year. I'll have to watch them both to compare to the theatre experiences.
Red Tails 5/10
The movie is based on a true story but that does not save it from forgettable characters and oh god the dialogue. You might as well put the movie on mute and just watch it because the only part I liked about it was the Dog Fight scenes but even that was sort of ruined because of the out of place cgi. Not worth a watch unless your bored.
man I just can't watch a movie without coke and chips, it costs me 4 dollars to watch a movie in my own home.
does this happen to somebody else? because if it wasn't for that I would post in this damn thread every day reporting the movies I watch.

Tis' about a man who is dealing with the recent death of his father, and a 17 year old girl dealing with pregnancy. It's interesting in that it feels like two separate movies at times, and the paths of its characters just happen to cross every now and again.
I wanted to love this movie, I really did. It started out very promising, the music, the cinematography, oh man. But the writing, where the plot went, the actions of the characters, a lot of it was too damn predictable/stupid. It's so packed with plenty of issues like teen sex, abortion, religion, but it doesn't really do anything with them. I can't help but feel if this had been turned into a tv show, the subjects and characters could have been fleshed out A LOT more.
6/10.
EDIT: I do hope to see more of Rachel Kitson in the future, not bad for her first role.

Solid great movie.
i don't think that's at all pretentious though. if i were pretentious i'd exclusively love french cinema by obscure directors or some shit you know. well that's an extreme example, but i absolutely love a lot of films you'd consider mainstream and successful like fight club and the dark knight and shit like that. if i'm so pretentious how come i thought real steel was pretty alright (for what it was)
nope sorry

Was enjoyable
I like the happy ending
So many movies I want to see this week; The Grey, The Muppets, Haywire, The Woman in Black, Martha Marcy Margerine Marmite and Young Adult. Any not worth seeing?
I don't understand why people thought 50/50 was going to be the most hilarious movie of all time. It's about cancer, for God's sake.
I mean, the trailer had a few jokes in it, but it's kind of a dark comedy from what I can make out.
Because Seth Rogen.
Crank 9/10.
This movie is fucking brilliant. I honestly don't understand why it got so many bad reviews

it's pretty good in action movie standards
come to think it
Rusty, is there any action movies you love?
Just watched Evil Dead again, absolutely fantastic movie! Gets better every time, Bruce Campbell's acting in the second half of the film is brilliant and Sam Raimi is seriously genius behind the camera. Some really really brilliant camerawork. Never noticed until now how great the soundtrack is for setting the mood as well. Everything a low budget horror movie should be, sadly everything most low budget horror movies are not.
9.5/10
Chronicle 9/10
it deserves an 8/10 but i loved it so much because it shows how unlimited power is corruptible, i did not like how it ended, too cliché for my taste but very enjoyable, this is one of the super power movies that makes you feel bad most of the movie, but with some comedy moments, although scarce, the ups and downs were pretty well executed from my point of view.
I did however hated the fact that there was no back story on the blue thing (no spoilers since it's on the trailer) whether it's alien or whatever fuck happened to it next.
Still, i really liked the movie. i recommend it!
Catch me if you can
8/10
Its a great movie but I have a nagging feeling in my head that its extremely overrated just because of Spielberg and a huge A-list cast.
rusty is the definition of pretentious.
you can't say someone's opinion is wrong, act like your word is the only truth and say you'd be pretentious if X-Y-Z as if you created the word and not sound and act like a completely pretentious prick. now back to the album
I thought everyone knew that already,

if anything is pretentious its going into insane and absurd, reaching depth into a film relating it to your past insanity
constantly
Lion King
Before: 100/10
After (Now): 8/10
I used to love this SOOO MUCHHH, but when i watch it again...
I don't know how to describe my feelings...
Scenes which i thought they were 10 minutes long now are 30 Seconds
(Like the scene when the Old Monkey knows that Simba is still alive)
(Or the fighting scene between Simba and Scar)
All of my childhood...
Seeking Justice - 7/10
Kinda like Fight Club except more obvious.
