what? since when have i never loved action films? my favourite films include terminator 2 and aliens but... my opinion is right ????? if anything is pretentious its going into insane and absurd, reaching depth into a film relating it to your past insanity constantly
I'm talking about just senseless action, like Rambo and movies of the sort
rusty is the definition of pretentious. you can't say someone's opinion is wrong, act like your word is the only truth and say you'd be pretentious if X-Y-Z as if you created the word and not sound and act like a completely pretentious prick. now back to the album
Please refer to this post:
everyone who moans about rusty needs a baby's bottle..
[editline]7th February 2012[/editline]
i'm sorry you see that way. i feel sorry for you in general. must be tough to have aspergers...
Why are you so persistent to be an asshole towards people. You have no right or assertion to feel sorry for anyone in humanity. [editline]7th February 2012[/editline] watched a couple of episodes of Planet Earth pretty stunning documentary.. BBC can actually put out inspired things once in a while.
I'm talking about just senseless action, like Rambo and movies of the sort
well if it's senseless that's just dumb unless it's like, commando. commando owns.
da thing 10/- i don't even have to say it. i dunno if i was to stoned before or what but now i've noticed some of the special effects look really really shit. but it's surprising and impressive how much of the time they aren't looking like shit and are actually looking really good. my favorite scene is when [sp]heart attack guy kills doctor then morphs up and shit[/sp] that scene had spectacular special effects. shit i need more new movies to watch. hopefully event horizon will be here tomorrow.
Senseless action only work if there is amazing choreography, effects and a good main character. A bad senseless action movie is if it is anything like Sucker Punch. God damn that movie was horrible. Animatronics beat CGI any day. To be honest, the lack of constant CGI in The Thing made it even better, added to the immersion. Unlike the new version, which has ultra obvious CGI monsters.

Girl with the dragon tatoo (2009) 7.5/10 not as good as the 2011 one, but still great to watch i felt like this was more about the sick ideology of the murderer making it a bit darker
Back to the Future 9/10 First time watching. Great movie, very fun. It's just that I found it wierd that the kid was nearly going to make out with his own mother.
I think BttF is pretty overrated (as a trilogy). Yeah it's great and I love it but I don't see why it's held up as a classic.
Chronicle 7/10 I don't like that whole camera thing. It would've been great if the entire movie wasn't recorded on that guy's camera. I don't like movies that do that. The Grey 9/10 Love the way they did this. It has the feeling that the entire team is being watched 24/7 by the wolves. You know they're there, but you can't see them. The ending was great too. I just really want to know [sp]whether or not the final guy lived..[/sp] Area 51 - 1.5/10 Terrible. When the aliens escaped, there were only like, 15 soldiers in the entire fucking base. The soldiers only had two guns: a pistol and an assault rifle. This was probably the most unrealistic alien movie I've ever seen.
I think BttF is pretty overrated (as a trilogy). Yeah it's great and I love it but I don't see why it's held up as a classic.
The sequels aren't anywhere near the quality of the original, still enjoyable though.
Not sure if I fully understood it but if I had to rate it I would give it a 10/10, don't think there is any flaws. However I'm not really good a summing-up a whole movie on some numbers. Actually, I think that I would give a 10/10 to many many films.
I think BttF is pretty overrated (as a trilogy). Yeah it's great and I love it but I don't see why it's held up as a classic.
You just explained why it's held up as classic yourself. It's great and it's from the past = classic.
What are some movies where some dude got pissed and decided to kill bad people. Like Harry Brown

12 Monkeys 10/10
You just explained why it's held up as classic yourself. It's great and it's from the past = classic.
Many great films are from the past.
Many great films are from the past.
I did not know this, thanks.
I love the trailer for Rampage because it makes it looks like he goes on a massacre of innocents because the woman at a café wouldn't get him a coffee
I think BttF is pretty overrated (as a trilogy). Yeah it's great and I love it but I don't see why it's held up as a classic.
The first one is great. I found the sequels quite boring.
