Rate the last movie you watched - February - General

irreversible fucking brilliant/10 yeah. [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] i never got dog day afternoon cause i never paid attention. i dunno why i just never could. it's always entertaining but nothing seems to really stick. so they're robbing the bank to get that one guy a sex change operation because he's in love with al pacino and they want to fuck like a man and a woman or something?

It doesn't even start at "how and why they rob a bank". It just goes STRAIGHT into it and doesn't stop. Yeah, he's probably bisexual and his wife doesn't know about it. But the wife is a bitch so no wonder. He cares for the mental gay guy, but the truth there isn't really shown. Only bits and pieces. But the fact that all this managed to be in a heist movie just amazes me, he walks out of the bank and cheers the crowd. That's awesome. Sal's character was really untrustworthy and very awkward. Brilliant acting by the man.

The Hunger Games 8/10 2-3 hours of shitty camera handling/work, makes you feel abit dizzy other then that, it was good but was overhyped

Brilliant acting by the man.[/QUOTE] i guess that's why i didn't get it, the dissonance of the fabrication of the plot by the movie the actual plot itself was really just static in the background for something that was going on [B]RIGHT NOW[/B] lol, in a way it's like irreversible. except in irreversible you're not supposed to really like anyone, you're just supposed to see everyone as some person in some event that happened, not a bona fide character.

nothing is worth watching over 'liam neeson', hes an alright actor but liam neeson alone cant save a bad movie, and hes been in a lot of them lately [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] its not like how nic cage makes any bad movie enjoyable.

Pirates in an adventure with scientists. Despite being a kids film, it makes you laugh your head off at times, and has jokes for older viewers too. One of the main crewmembers had a Blue Peter badge on his hat, for example. Oh yeah, it had Lenny henry in it as a fellow pirate and David Tennant as Charles darwin.

I'd love to see a modern horror movie that doesn't explain everything. I mean, look at most cheap horror films, there's always that twist at the end, "oh, he was her father" or "oh, it was all a dream", or even "it's actually a ghost that needs to be set free". If I was in a house/city/dream/whatever with a ghost following me, I definitely wouldn't stop and take my time to do some research on who the ghost is, or what's his purpose. It sort of throws you off, explaining things that we shouldn't even know in the first place, it just breaks the atmosphere for me.

21 Jump Street - 9/10

Its kind of a funny story 7/10 It had its cliches and awkward moments but was overall a really good movie. There was a lot to relate to. (I know relating to a movie full of insane people, what does that say about me?)

Drive 8.6 A damn good movie. Only downside was that I watched it with my family and my mom doesn't really like violence.

I also loved the references to the earlier films

Mortal Kombat Legacy sure it's technically a webseries, but all the episodes were about 1:20 hours, that's movie length IMO. i give it a 7/10, i enjoyed the sonja/jax episodes, the scorpion episodes and the raiden episode, the rest could have been improved (johnny cage's actor had the part down, but his face was just not johnny cage whatsoever). didn't care much for katana, the cyrax episodes were neat, overall i hope this guy makes an even better film.
