OH GAWD TOMMY!
So sad, could'nt take my eyes away from the screen.
Please watch it if you have not.
What the fuck do you mean? Are you talking about Warrior (2001) or Warrior(2011)? Jesus fucking christ, watch what the hell you type.
Battle Royale 8/10
Amazing movie though Kawadas boner ruined the ending for me.
What's so special about this movie? Was watching it with my brother and sister and we just stopped it, it got so boring. I thought the movie was gonna have some gruesome kills and deaths or atleast be suspensful or thrilling. I never felt anything but boredom throughout it.

It has all of that.

Considering Tom Hardy plays in the 2011 version I thought it was rather clear.
Saw Ides of March on my plane ride back.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. Intense political thriller with great acting and good music.
The Royal Tenenbaums - 6.5/10
+ Quirky film.
+ Cool visuals.
- Thin story.
A pessimistic / depressive feel pervades the movie for the most of it. The way it resolves and ends is pretty ironic. That stands out to me, but emotionally it doesn't "hit".

The music maaan. The music fucking did it for me aside from everything else.
Limitless. 8/10
Pretty good movie. I'd love to get my hands on those pills
^they actually exist, they're called amphetamines. for all intents and purposes. i'm willing to bet that the creator of the story based it loosely off his experiences with uppers, cause they do the same thing basically.
obviously they aren't as potent as the drug in the film but still, if you've ever used uppers before you can just tell there's a big common grounds between them and the movie.
videodrome
i can't/10
okay so like if freud watched cronenburg's shit he'd say david's got some fuckin issues. pretty much every david cronenburg film i've ever seen has loads of allusions to phallic imagery and homosexuality.
as far as the film goes it's quite similar to scanners in some respects but still completely different. the whole tone of most of cronenburg's films almost all the time is like the tone of a david lynch movie but if the david lynch movie was a 70s porno with more hair than skin
The Secret World of Arrietty. 8.5/10
I fucking love Hayao Miyazaki.

Dunno, but the concept sounds extremely awesome. Can't wait to watch it.

Cronenberg's a good director aha.
Watch Crash, Dead Ringers and Existenz.
[editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Well Crash is more fascinating than it is good and it's one of his weaker films but hey.
Rec 10/10
Fucking scary.

It is good, I liked how it was set in one room (pretty much, there are a couple of scenes outside but they're not exactly far from the room). The twist at the end was pretty funny, although it wasn't really meant to be. I'd probably give it a 7 because it didn't really grip me, but it was interesting.
I always get caught up in "shit's deep bro" stuff like that. I'm a ponderer.

Yep, tis intense.
I saw Contact.
Yep, that's beautiful. I dunno about most people but the fact that it brought science and spirituality together makes this movie truly great. It's fair to say that this is the most intense sci fi movie for me in recent times. Jodie Foster's eyes heal my soul. :-)
Watched catch me if you can.

Titanic 3D 100000000000000000/10 best movie ever
Joking aside, the 3D looked really good and the movie as a whole looked a lot better. It's still the same awesome movie.
go see it right now
The Raid: Redemption
cheesy as fuck name but very good
welsh director, indonesian movie, great violence and choreography in fights
bit a of a dry season for those action movies that isnt just random shooting, very good contrast if you want something with suspense and seriousness but not too complex

That movie is embarrassing and you should be ashamed for even considering paying to see it again, but this time inferior.

I respectfully disagree
Then go ahead and enlighten us, oh mighty one.
By saying what? It's just not a very good movie and does not deserve to be up there with the highest grossing titles.
[editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Neither does Avatar. Maybe my beef is with James Cameron.
Avatar is a genuinely terrible movie but I have no problem with Titanic. It's not brilliant but it's not bad.
Then explain why you think's its bad instead of acting like a twit and not explaining why its bad.
Any movie with this line
Picasso? He won't amount to a thing. He won't,trust me
Is cheesy beyond redemption.
The Aviator - 7.25
It's pretty good.

that film owns. a perfect example of how huge impressive vistas, visual effects and hell even image quality means almost nothing compared to the writing.
[editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Wrath of the Titans (2012)
beyond awful. a cliché-riddled and boring film.
also, Sam Worthington is perhaps the most "average" and forgettable actor ever.
1/10
Iron Sky (2012)
Really great film. Filled with laughs, and fortunately nothing like Sucker Punch (ie. terrible).
Some jokes missed, and Palin and that campaign-lady were badly written and acted out- just annoying.
