Falling Down - 7.75/10
Great movie. Would rewatch and recommend.
Falling Down is fantastic, better than a 7.75
7.76 at least.

Get away.
I couldn't care less for Titanic, but I don't think I truly hate it either
With Man from Earth, it's more of a play than a movie, in terms of acting and how its all in one room (more or less).
I expected flashbacks or something, but it really is just talking. Still a good movi-play.
Shame - 7/10
The Thing (2011)
4/10
It wasn't offensively bad, but it was a major step don't compared to the original.
I kept wondering why The Thing didn't just stab someone, instead of spending a lot of time transforming and shit.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)
8/10
American Reunion 5/10
made me smile quite a few times, just cause I have some nostalgia for the first two, so watching what happens to these guys as they get older is kinda nice. but god so much wrong with this movie, a really big step down in terms of quality.
Anchorman - 8/10

I don't see how they could have done flashbacks without being cheesy. Showing him roaming about as a caveman wouldn't work in my opinion.

Oh I know, I totally agreed. Thats just what I was expecting, and like I said, the movie ended up feeling alot like a play. I still enjoyed it though.
Good Will Hunting- 7.5/10
Overall, it's satisfying, but there are plenty of scenes that were a bit too slow for my taste.
However, it's the little moments that make it work. In my opinion, Robin Williams drives this movie. The way that Will and Sean work off of each other is gripping, no matter what scene they're in together.
My favorite scene was when Will and Sean were at the park together and Sean has a scene all to himself. He gives Will a speech on values and definitions, and to me, it stuck. I don't know why, but judge this scene for yourself. In my opinion, it's a work of genius.

watch Dead Poets Society if you haven't yet. Any movie with Robin Williams as a teacher is good and emotional (World's Greatest Dad for example)
and a 7.5 seems a bit low, man ):
Is "Being There" any good?
Is "Being There" any good?
Not that much happens throughout the movie. I mean, it's what some people would call "boring".
It has some pretty genius stuff in it, though, but I watched it a long time ago, anyway.
Watching Back to the Future part 2 right now. I gotta say we aren't quite on track for the writer's envisionment of 2015.
Am I the only one here who likes "Murder by Death"? I loved that movie
The Flowers Of War
9/10
Fucking awesome, fucking sad, fucking depressing, happy ending though.
Christian Bale is bestest ever
SLC Punk, for the twentieth time. 9/10. Definitely in my top five.
The Dark Knight - Heath Ledger: Best Joker 10/10
Star Trek First Contact
8/10
Easily the best of the TNG Star Trek movies, and one of my favorite Star Trek movies overall next to The Voyage Home and Wrath of Khan.

Thinking to see it
Mad Max: Beyond The Thunderdome
7/10
Started out okay, but [sp]after Max got sent into the desert and found the "missing civilazation" it kinda went downhill from there.[/sp]
Anyway, the ground vehicles used looked really cool and [sp]Sydney in ruins was a quite facinating site[/sp]
and I found it kinda weird that Barter* Town was in the middle of the desert and somehow there's a good conditioned railway attached to it.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is like Return of the Jedi. In fact, I'd refer to the Mad Max films as "the Australian Star Wars".
You like it a lot, but there's still a downside to it that makes it not as good as its previous film (the dumb kids that obviously are parallel to the lost boys from peter pan/ewoks). Also, it's Barter Town, not Bartender.

None of the TNG movies were all that good. Mediocre at best.
