Sometimes it can reward to go into a movie blind.
I actually prefer that I heard some people say that they need to watch a trailer before seeing the movie, but I'm the opposite. I hate watching trailers, and I hate knowing too much about what I'm going to see.
I was being serious, dude.
It would have been better if you obscured the truth. :psyduck:
Falling Down 8/10 Loved the main character. Great symbolism and shit like that.
What are some decent movies with William Dafoe? Just finished Platoon and the only other thing i've seen him in is Spiderman, I feel like he's done something good.
American Psycho, Affliction.
The Avengers 10/10 My favourite fight is between Loki and Cap I think. It was basically Cap unleashing his martial prowess onto Loki. Unfortunately, Steve didn't stand a chance against Asgardian strength
Monsters (2010) - 9/10
You thought that movie was fucked up?
i accidently once fapped to this movie i was on redtube like 3 years ago then i was searching for random porn and then i was like meh and then i was like this shit is kinky, i had no idea what was going on and no idea that it was Salo, though I had heard of the movie before, so there i'm fapping and then suddenly they start to eat shit and im like wtf, i skip few parts and was like meh i can finish off to this and so i did latthen i found out it was Salo or 120 days of sodom, and then the whole situation was awkward
i recommend the movie Funny Games (german version) to everyone who likes movies like Human Centipede, Salo and yada yada you know the kinds of movies [editline]16th april 2012[/editline] in a way its genius
i watched The Blues Brothers (the original with John Belushi) it was a movie ahead of it's time that's for sure 9/10
Goodfellas - 9.8/10 I like a lot of mob/gangster/mafia movies, but this one is my favorite by far. I got really confused when I was watching it though, not the movie itself; but the DVD. I bought an older version of the DVD, it's a 1999 copy, and it has an A side and a B side. I need to flip the thing over once it reached the part where [sp]Spider gets whacked[/sp], and I thought something was wrong with my DVD.

Cabin in the Woods, 10/10. What an awesome movie.
Goodfellas - 9.8/10
I can watch that movie over and over and never get fed up
most Scorsese movies i can watch over without getting fed up.
Just finished watching Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 9.5/10 God, do I love Law and Downey. Together they make this movie so much better than any other pair of actors could have. I do feel that the the movie came to a rather slow start but after that I had the best of times. The slight references to the books makes it all the better.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was a decent action flick, but it is nowhere near a 9.5/10. I might give it a 6.

John Carter: 4/10 It was just so fucking stupid, I'm sorry but, holy shit, I did like the effects though, but everything else was meh. Wraith of the Titans 3D: 7/10 3D is a gimmick, the only bit in 3D was the credits, overall terrible. Cool action and crap but it was still pretty meh, butchered the mythology and shit as well.
127 Hours - 9/10 The most intense 100 minutes of a dude stuck in a canyon I've ever seen. The cinematography, editing and music are fantastic and just fit so well together. Everything else is great as well.
Contagion - 4/10 Attempted to make you follow far too many stories. The only person I actually had some small sense of investment in was Matt Damon's character, and that's because he was the only person I saw actually effected by the disease. It just left me feeling quite empty. I think there were 5 plots or so going on at once that were somewhat connected, but none of them explored enough to really validate a reaction from me. Some actions by characters felt odd because of how little we knew about them and that part of the story. In fact, I had to ask whether or not somebody had actually died because it skitted about so much I wasn't quite sure. However, the music, editing, photography and acting were decent from what I recall. I watched this film with a cold, constantly coughing and sneezing, although that didn't really aid immersion
The Haunting (1963) - 10/10 Wow that was intense. If there ever needed to be proof that you can make an effective horror film with literally no gore then this is it. It was also a great movie. Would recommend, a lot.

The Music Room - 7/10 quite sad but the music scenes are all so entertaining to watch, I could watch it again for those. shows a man's love for music (above all else) in a sensitive way. second satyajit ray film I've seen, I need to see more.
The Cabin in the Woods. 7/10 A really great un-spoof of the traditional horror movie :) Only detracting element was that a few of the actors were lacking. Beyond that, greatness!
Rango - 8/10 It was genuinely entertaining, the jokes and references were smart, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Letters to God- 10/10 I genuinely cried the last half of the film. This movie is extremely emotional.
Scarface (1983) - 9.5/10 A couple of my friends tried to turn me off from watching Scarface, but I really wanted to watch it anyways. I've seen a couple of scenes here and there, and I don't know why I didn't watch the full movie sooner. It's a great tale of rags to riches, and I'm sure everyone in this thread knows how it goes. The story is both fantastic and tragic, and it's another great crime-action movie I love.
God Bless America - 6/10 Expected more, I felt like I had seen this movie dozens of times already. Nowhere near as good as World's Greatest Dad.
How's this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Young_Victoria [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Heard this one is good too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsfjXNMQt8I
The Cabin in the Woods - 8.5/10 It was a hell of a lot funnier than I was expecting, it is a shame the horror element relied mostly on jump scares though.
