Going to watch "Pink Floyd: The Wall" soon. Has anyone here got an opinion on it? I've heard mixed thoughts.
I assume you mean the film based on the music? It's great, mostly if you're a Pink Floyd fan. Otherwise you might think it a bit artsy fartsy. I don't, but then again I like films like The Wall.
Gonna watch Stalker. don't know what to expect.
Going to watch "Pink Floyd: The Wall" soon. Has anyone here got an opinion on it? I've heard mixed thoughts.
I really liked it.
Awesome. I've listened to the album about twice all the way through, and I'm just starting to get into Pink Floyd. Wasn't allowed to listen to them as a kid because my stepfather's a total dick. He said that it was for "stoners only". I finally got my hands on it and I intend to watch it tomorrow. Hoping for the best!
That sucks, I've been listening to PF since I was practically born. Then again, my mother was a hippy...
Can I pay someone to explain Mr nobody to me.
Can I pay someone to explain Mr nobody to me.
The boy at the trainstation is stuck between choosing his mother or his father.
why do you need other peoples opinions?? cant u just watch it and find out urself??????
innit
It's just a long Pink Floyd music video.
Battleship 6/10 I was pretty satisfied with this one.
It's just a long Pink Floyd music video.
It's the album in film form, what else is there to say?
why do you need other peoples opinions?? cant u just watch it and find out urself??????
nothing wrong with asking for a few opinions before watching a movie
yes there is you should ask for them after you watch it
if someone says that the movie is bad, I'm probably going to watch it anyway, and give my own opinion about it but if two ore more people say that a movie is completely unwatchable and pointless, there's no way I'm going to see it that's why I don't plan on seeing Project X, for example
The Darkest Hour - 4/10 It was slightly better than I expected it to be. Keep in mind, I thought I was going to give it a 2/10. The idea behind the movie was mediocre at best and the characters were silly beyond fuck sometimes. What got me the most was (Ending spoiler:[sp]the text the girl received from her mother in the end.[/sp]
Captain America - 4/10 yeah it was bad. Definitely the worst Marvel movie.
I thought it was fairly enjoyable, I'd give it a 5/10 way better than the fantastic 4, at least [editline]20th April 2012[/editline] Hey, can anyone tell me why exactly the last Indiana Jones movie was so bad?
Holy shit. Shutter Island, amazing. 9.5/10 Can anyone recommend any other good psychological thrillers? Im thinking about watching The Usual Suspects next.
Hey, can anyone tell me why exactly the last Indiana Jones movie was so bad?
It wasn't, people are just hugely over critical of everything. It was an enjoyable film, even if a bit different from the older ones. Edit: My automerge :| And I have seen both Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon, both awesome, Anthony Hopkins is a great actor.
The Divide - 7/10 It started out like any other movie in its genre but ended unlike anything I have ever seen. Sadly, the ending wasn't one I enjoyed all that much. I still do not quite understand the motives of the last actions preformed.
coincidence, just finished watching The Divide too disturbing on a whole new level. Like one reviewer said: It's like seeing your neighbour drown puppies at night as a kid cant rate it
21 Jump Street: 8/10 A very funny movie, although some parts are just stupid and unpleasant to watch. I especially liked how the film made fun of old 80's cop movie cliches. At times the film can just be dumb and unfunny, but, for the most part, it was a good movie and I enjoyed it.

Deliverence: 0/10 Worst porno I've ever purchased [sp]seriously 7/10, it's a great film, I honestly didn't think I'd like it but it turned out to be an above-average thriller that you can NEVER unsee. Also the dueling banjos scene is pure genius[/sp]
The Beaver - 7/10 Seriously enjoyable film, which turns darker near the end (Well, darker than a story about a man with depression can be) Mel Gibson put in a pretty good performance overall. Although, sometimes the film felt it was more about the elder son than about Mel and the Beaver.

The Grey - 8/10 Man, that was better than Taken (I haven't seen Unknown).
Iron Sky 8.6/10 Hilarious and awesome, just the way I like it.
IMO Unknown was horrible.
Went to see Titanic 3D at Leicester Square Odeon (London) All you need to know is that I got a free ticket so don't bother asking. :) Well the cinema was pretty damn good, seating was comfortable, the screen was crystal clear and the sound was brilliantly balanced and even. A unique thing about this experience was the fact that there were NO annoying audience moments which is rare, astonishing too since it's a 3hour+ movie. Pretty much tip top, even had a pretty little chinese lady sobbing her eyes out next to me. :> Not a huge fan of the movie even though I still enjoy and admire it, I mostly was intrigued at how this $18 MILLION 3D conversion will do. There's hints of the same old when the first water scenes come up.. all the bubbles in your face malarkay. But then you notice what they've done here, as characters are talking and walking to the camera it seems as though they're walking in front of a green screen. If that makes sense. With that in mind, I tried to get my head around what was going on because technically the "3D" image was very good, but how its done is really distracting. People walk in front of the camera and are PUSHED in front of the "3D" for no reason. That's the downer to this, it's distracting. However, when the close encounters come through in the end, the 3D starts making more sense and you begin to feel more immersed within the ship. Another thing I feel is worth mentioning is the sound. Holy shizz, that mixing is unbelievable and unlike most which try to be "just loud", this is a waft of intense surround sound. The cinema choice definitely matters in this case, even though it's a shit load more expensive. Good thing I got it for free. ;) I'm not entirely sure I'd recommend it, only if you're intrigued by how a 3D conversion will work. As for the movie, it kind of does good for it in places... mostly the last 30 minutes. In others.. I could do without, I even took them off because I had a smudge on the glasses and it wouldn't come off for 5 minutes. Damn them.
