Gladiator - 9.9/10
I have so many mixed emotions about this, though they all still lead to it being an amazing movie
Still, everything was so fucked up god damn that commodus guy is such a good actor
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind - 5/5
One of the most moving movies I've seen in a very long time. Left me with a few tears (can't remember that happen before)
District 9 10/10
Seriously amazing movie.

Brick 9/10
absolutely loved its style. great music too
Arrested Development episodes 6,7 & 8. 5.5/10
Still haven't laughed properly, it's definitely getting funnier but the release just isn't there. I've smiled though.
Jaws
9.5/10
One of my favorite horror films next to the original Universal monster films. I love the fact that were not supposed to see the shark, made it real good. I just don't understand all the hype about it, it's a great film, but it's hyped a lot.
I still enjoyed the movie, I highly suggest if you haven't seen it, to see it.
Watched Chinatown last night, 8/10.
Jack Nicholson is just top-tier cool.
Shame cock/10
Michael Fassbender is a sex addict who lives in his own selfish world. As soon as his sister (Carey Mulligan)shows up and crashes into his life it stops him doing what he wants, when he wants. The performances are excellent from both main roles and the sex scenes are realistic and extremely explicit, Fassbender has a great cock.
For the boys, you get to see Mulligans minge (no Fassbender doesn't fuck his sister).
7/10

you just gave it 9.5/10
Breaking the Waves
Just like Dancer in the Dark, Lars von Trier knows very well how to make you care deeply about a character and then stab you in the back with force.
Some say it's a heartless thing, but I'm inclined to call it beautiful. Also this ending is pretty inspired.
As a whole, we see different aspects of spiritual feeling against reality. It makes up for very intense viewing, and as a piece of cinema it feels real. Too real in fact.
Blitz, 9/10, some great scenes and decent music as well as a pretty good storyline.
Goldeneye - 8/10
It was alot more cheesy then I remeber, but then again I've probably been ruined by the "realistic" films with Daniel Craig and everything. Still a good movie though.
btw when is a new bond movie coming out
The Usual Suspect 9/10
Excellent film. Sort of guessed the ending about 3/4 through though but nonetheless I would watch it again.

end of year
btw when is a new bond movie coming out
Late October to be exact.
Citizen Kane - 9/10
Really enjoyed it; loved the plot and characters, especially Orson Welles' performance as Kane. Something about it kind of annoyed me though, I'm not sure what, I just had this nagging feeling. Overall great movie though.
Departures - 4.5/5
Really good pacing, and a very nice mood to it. The ending didn't really do it for me though. Highly recommend watching it.
Transformers 3 - 4/10
At least I could actually see what the fuck was going on in this one, still sucked though.
Better than the second (not exactly hard), not as good as the first.
Road to Perdition 9.9/10 second watching
how come i never see people rate this movie, it's a masterpiece?! its a classic movie like Green Mile and Forrest Gump
however i always thought the title Men in the Rain fit more since everyone is wearing those big black coats and its raining like 80% of the movie
dude who hasn't seen Road to Perdition?
i havent seen road to perdition
i havent seen road to perdition
big deal
[editline]21st May 2012[/editline]
watched Blow Out
few elements from The Conversation, plotwise anyway.
But it's pretty much a standard 80s, cheesy thriller with Travolta on the helm. I enjoyed it, but it's not something anyone would cry to see.
The fact that it doesn't quite take things as seriously, kind of draws out the intensity but it's still an interesting movie.

Is Blow Out even a remake of the film Blow-Up (1966)? I swear both films have a somewhat similar plot.
[sp]They both accidentally find a murder by doing their professions and the fact there's some Blowing in the titles.[/sp]
Mr. Nobody - 10/10
Once again, it didn't disappoint.
2001 - 9.5/10 - Long as shit, and very little happens, but for some reason I still find it fantastic.
And for its time the special effects are brilliant. (Not really good for repeated viewing though)
2010 - 8/10 - Quicker paced, but it doesn't have exactly the same charm as 2001, they seemed to try to emulate it a bit, but didn't do it quite as well.
I really wish they would make 2061 and 3001 (without fucking them up horribly) because I absolutely love the books.
Can anyone recommend more movies like these? (I've seen Sunshine and Moon, which are the only other 2 that I can think of that resemble them.)

Fine-ass movie, couldn't find anything wrong with it.
It's a shame that the Guy Fawkes mask, as a symbol, got fucked up thanks to Anonymous.

yes, but not sure if it's a direct remake. I'll have to see that one too.
Centurion 5/10
Shit film but a good deal of blood and guts to satisfy my love of violence. One of those films you could pull to pieces but somehow still delivers a bit of enjoyment.
Just about to watch 'A Separation', really looking forward to that.
