Where the fuck is The Yes Album, man? You can't forget that!
I haven't listened to it :ohdear:
And I didn't like what I heard of Fragile at all :v: still need to give it another listen, along with Tales

More like:
The Yes Album
Fragile
Close to the Edge
Going for the One
Relayer
Tales from Topographic Oceans
You should probably start from their more accessible stuff, so that you´ll be well familiar with them once you get to their crazier, more experimental stuff.
Anyways, a legendary band. My friend linked me Heart of the Sunrise and Close to the Edge, how could I not have gotten into them? I like Tales from Topographic Oceans, Close to the Edge and Yes Album the most. Going for the One would be higher up on my list, but the only songs I really care about on the album are the title song and Awaken, which is just amazing.
Yup, and I can play the solo from Starship Trooper on guitar + Roundabout´s and Heart of the Sunrise´s basslines:smug:.
If you're talking about accessibility Going for the One surely would be top of the list
a cd/dvd of the union tour is coming out soon

Awaken, though, is really proggy, and it´s the one song I like most on the album.

I'm starting to fall in love with The Ladder, great album.
I just bought Close to The Edge. And I was considering getting the complete Keys to Ascension (with all 3 discs and the DVD) But it was too much :saddowns:
WHY is there no mention of the 90125 era of Yes? completely different sound, yeah, but still notably good.
yeah
for anyone wanting to get into yes
listen to 90125 and close to the edge THEN everything else

It is fantastic. But if you were to take an "overlooked" route to listening to the band like I would do.
