Holy shit. I... I think I actually liked that.
They're like the heaviest band I've ever heard. That's from their first album though, was just raw black metal. Their newer stuff is more blackened grind. I like it more. I love how well they can get rhythm and melody into such brutal aggression.
For instance:

On top it sounds like raw black/death metal, but there's such nice melody and rhythm under it. Seriously talented guys.Like if you listen to the riffing it compliments everything really well, and at the chorus the sweep picking is kind of hidden away under the drums but it is just awesome. Also the cleans are :gizz:

and yeah band shirts should mean NOTHING. If anything you should respect them for liking music from a wide range of genres.
We have more songs coming also. I think you guys will like them. Osiris and Hybrid are the names. Try should be up by the end of this week the latest.
So are you an armchair expert, or just an amateur who talks a lot? I can not even begin to tell you the amount of successful musicians i've seen in photos wearing band shirts of other bands they like from random genres, outfits on every end of the scale, so where are you getting this from?
Just some one trying to offer advice, like everyone else in this thread. But apparently because I'm not lining up to give the TS a tonguebath or say that death metal is for gays, my constructive criticism is useless to everyone here. No matter what kind of band or which specific band you have been referring to, I can GUARANTEE that said band will have put some thought into how they present themselves as members of a unit. Like I said in my post it does go further than just wearing a t shirt of a certain band.

Sure does go deeper than just a T-shirt, and yeah, the band should look like they fit together, but beyond that... It's enough for metal.
simply playing metal music should be enough if you ask me. Looks and other tastes shouldn't be an issue, shouldn't come into anything.
Its not bad. But when i listened to rotting corpse, I heard everyone who has ever seen a mixer writhe in pain. Ok, you don't have to be proffessionals, but holy shit the vocals stand out way too much. They need to be way more in the background, Every time you opened your mouth it was like the band itself wasnt even there. I could probably cut out the vocal parts and make an accapella with some time on my hands. Make. The. Vocals. Stand. Out. Less. Thank you.
It was pretty good otherwise.
Yeah the vocals are a little too loud but it's ok for a demo. Your live sound is awesome though. It'd be cool if you could capture that on your recordings.
I'm currently redoing a lot of the none recording aspects of the album... I'll be dropping the vocals down much farther... don't worry.

We plan on it. We've got some shows coming up. We're gonna record them and put them up. You guys will enjoy them, i hope

I'm not the singer man XD. I'm the rhythm guitar player.
Pretty good originals, keep it up! I'd say work on the vocals a bit, maybe a bit more gutteral voice.

Yeah ok, my point stays however. I personally hate this kind of music, but it's pretty cool if you make the vocals less loud.

Yeah, we're having it mixed again by Timebomb so we'll see what happens
Dude you cut out one of your guitarists in the video. That's not nice, bring him back in!

I'm the one thats cut out! No biggie though.
Not what I'm into but you guys sound like you know what you're doing. Would like to hear studio versions of some of your songs.

Whoops, didn't notice that you had already posted some.

Check it...
Sounds 100000x better. But the sample at the beginning sounds kind of out of place.

:awesome:
That's about all I can really say. And I disagree, Ian. I think the sample at the beginning makes it sound a hundred times better. Without it, it'd just be another generic intro. I especially like the touches with the lightning.
You guys know your shit. :bravo:
Intro reminded me of The Man who Loves to Hurt Himself by Today is the Day.
Besides that, great stuff!

Gazillion times better. Also I loved the intro so much.
Awesome work.

Finished another song.... I rather liked how this one turned out, especially since there was minimal work that needed to be done.

Fucking great
It's good but the vocals still need some work I think. They're not quite there yet.
I'll have another song up tommorow at 3, because there is an upload limit of 1 every 24 hours and 5 every month, so I'll probably have to find another site for uploading.... any suggestions?

it's what my friend uses for his tunes
I don't like it, sounds really really bad. I listen to a lot of death metal and metal, this is not.

Care to elaborate, mate?

Yes, elaborate
I'm guessing his definition of death metal is In Flames and Avenged Sevenfold.
