I dunno about the rest of you, but I'm starting to like Regular Show head-and-shoulders better than Adventure Time. Don't get me wrong, Adventure Time rocks, but Regular Show has a lot more character development and continuity, while Adventure Time seems to just have a lot of random shit happen with one-off characters that we usually never see again.
Both shows have random shit, but Regular show is more surprising. Like, you would expect crazy shit in an irradiated apocalyptic world such as Adventure time, but in Regular show you feel like things should be normal but then Mordecia and Rigby find some way to fuck shit up, which makes it unexpected and unpredictable as to the outcome/result.

I'm guessing he was semi-based on him. The artist might of just browsed some reference on Google for kids in a class room, and found a picture of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Quintel's without a doubt seen the movie. Despite the different logo, I'm fairly certain it was a throwback to that movie.

Yeah, first time watching both shows I preferred Adventure Time, but second time over Adventure Time got kinda boring but Regular Show was just as entertaining as ever, but it definitely takes a little persistence to get into
