Regular Show is specially tailored to hipsters. 1980s pop culture references, hipster names like "Mordechai" etcetera. Arrested Development grew out of shows like The Larry Sander Show. Hipsters may like it, but it wasn't designed specifically for them. I'm not saying that makes it *bad* but Regular Show was made with the specific purpose of appealing to hipster dads and their kids. what was your guy's favorite, and least liked episodes? My favorite is "Don", GIVE ME SOME SUGAR. least favorite, the newer one with Muscleman and the party he wouldnt invite Rigby and Mordecai. Really was a disappointment because nothing over the top trippy happens like every other episode.
