So true... so true. I barely watch TV anymore, Youtube is just so much easier. Much to the joy of my Dad, now he won't complain about hogging the TV! :v:

The only tv i watch now is Regular show, adventure time, mythbusters, and Always sunny in philadelphia. I used to watch Breaking bad, but the year long break before the next season kind of killed it for me. I found a 3 part video of the Halloween episode but it was filmed in ultra low quality with a camera pointed at a distant TV and parts 2 and 3 had been taken down. Help.

I'm still waiting on a good upload. This one seems to be taking a long time to get up.

lol thats wut she said *snort* But really, I need to see this episode. What devices do uploaders use these days? I mean the comcast/dish/Direct tv ones are proprietary right? And a TV tuner seems Barbaric in this day and age.

How are they barbaric? Most modern ones support clearQAM (unencrypted digital cable) which can support HD, if you cable operator allows it on certain channels. Not really many other ways to capture television channels.

Is it only local channels? Comcast only gives me basic cable even when hooked up to an HDTV I only get local HD channels.

Our service provider gives us clearQAM channels for free for a few years now (actually, its mandatory now, they have discontinued analog service for more bandwidth). Its unencrypted as just a literal video stream so you can watch/record all you want. If your getting digital channels on basic cable on your HDTV (along with HD local channels), then your already using clearQAM (which you should be, most providers use it now). Nothing special about it. All the tuner does is capture the stream and allow the computer to record and display it.
