i just realized Tim Curry is really rather available now or they're just rehashing old lines because that hot dog sounds awfully familiar to King Chicken

Ha, this show is great!
When worlds collide.
I was wondering when someone was going to make something like this.
When worlds collide.
Just watched a few episodes of this show, it's great. But who are those characters on the left? I think I've seen them before.

You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
:what: I hope this is a joke, seeing your avatar.
You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
So are you saying Family Guy, American Dad, and Simpsons are bad cartoons because they relate to kids and adults? The mixture of slapstick for the kids and modern day references (like Benson drunk in "Over the Top") for adults makes these shows flourish, saying that they are bad for doing so is just ignorant.
You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
Cartoons have always been like that.
You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
It don't think that necessarily makes a cartoon "bad". If you can get a cartoon to appeal to a larger crowd, that's a good thing. Your show gets more popularity and more fans, and networks get more ad revenue, so they don't cancel the show. Its a win-win for everybody. Unless its happens in the middle of the show's run, and drastically changes the show itself. But Regular Show did it from the beginning, so no worries there.
:what: I hope this is a joke, seeing your avatar.
no hes an idiot. hes enjoyed Pirates 4 in 3D, unforgivable

i would like the one where rigby is staring at the solar eclipse and gets punched on the ground. his face is classic
i would like the one where rigby is staring at the solar eclipse and gets punched on the ground. his face is classic
It'd be cool to have one of those closeups where Rigby goes "STOP TALKIIIING" as a .gif.
Rigby makes the FUUUUUUU guy face in one of the episodes. I think it's either the one where they send skips to the moon, or the one where he sees pops naked.
-snip- Turns out I was thinking of Adventure Time....my bad
It'd be cool to have one of those closeups where Rigby goes "STOP TALKIIIING" as a .gif.
i would rather have the "YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE" in the Don episode. classic rigby bitching haha

Also you all missed the point I was trying to fucking make, but thanks for the dumb ratings anyways. I didn't mean it as a bad thing, and I am not dissing cartoons. I said I was going to see it in 3D. I never said I liked it.
You know cartoons are getting bad when teens and adults can relate to them, and enjoy them... Scary.
yes because that is clearly a compliment.
yes because that is clearly a compliment.
I didn't mean they are bad shows. Some pretty enjoyable shows air on cartoon network. What I meant, was that the language and sexual innuendo is increasing, and cartoons are not as, "age appropriate" as they once were. Like the line pointed out earlier about How the "H" are we going to fix this "S". I think that was where my disconnect with you guys was. I am in no way applying that today's shows are bad or terribly written. I was speaking more of the sensitive material sneaking into newer shows.

I don't think that theres any less adult humor in older shows. Sponge bob, Ed Edd and Eddy and Animaniacs all had adult humor. Its just now that we notice it.

Going back and watching a few episodes of Ed Edd and Eddy made me realize how truly "adult" it could be at times.

Benson makes me think of Squidward.
Benson makes me think of Squidward.
Sort of. But they also are completely opposite too. Benson takes his job very seriously, but Squidward honestly couldn't care less about it.
