while arachnids are not social, I do believe they have emotions. Individual spiders have their own personalities and react to things different ways.
I personally don't understand how anyone couldn't find a tarantula cute, but my point was that your statement was opinionated and that not everyone agrees with you.

This thing is the biggest spider in the world, its a cave dweller and was discovered in 2001. Its fucking huge. 30 centimeter (12 inches) leg-span.
It lives in caves.

When I find spiders or insects I take a strip of duct tape and stick it to their back. Then I fold the strip in half and throw it in the trash.
For a larger spider I would most likely run and scream like a girl then eventually get close enough to shoot it to death with a Nerf gun.
Thats just me though.

They are called house centipedes or "silverfish." They may not look frightening, but they are scary as SHIT to find them crawling down the wall to your bed. The thing just looks like it can eat you if it wanted to. Two of them got stuck on a piece of tape I had hanging a poster and one of them ate the other. Freaking cannibals.
The Japanese keep them as pets because they think they are "beautiful creatures"
