No it actually is illegal in a lot of countries, read a Law book.

no fucking shit
I was referring to the United States.
It being illegal isn't as illogical as it might seem, though. You could say "hurr durr you can't punish someone that is dead," but it isn't quite that simple. When suicide used to be illegal in the states (and I'm assuming this is what happened in other countries), the body/possessions/processing of the person that committed suicide would be carried out as if they were a criminal. I'm assuming that a lot of repercussions where passed down onto the family that wouldn't be if the person died of natural causes.
Yeah the 'Government' would come and take away your possessions, but if you were a single loser loner (Perfect reason for someone to commit suicide in the first place) it wouldn't really matter.
Most single loser loners still have family that care about them. Isn't too nice for your family when the government comes and takes all of your crap, leaving nothing for them to hang on to.
I guess nobody commits suicide because they have family members :downs:
ur voice...it emanates from ur :butt:

Just to clear things up when someone refers to a loner, at least in the Sociological point of view it's referring to a hermit in a sense, no outside connections so family really isn't a factor here.

Are you going to actually discuss the topic or just shoot insults instead?
People that commit suicide out of emotional distress are often not as bad off as they make things out to be. Kids that run around saying "Woe is me, I have nothing to live for," are often exaggerating their circumstances and are just in a rough patch of their life. There's almost always someone to turn to for assistance, whether it's friends, family, counselors, or whoever. Very very rarely is someone truly alone, they are just too lazy to actually do something about their situation, throwing a big goddamn pity party. Hermits have no connections because they are lazy, they could easily walk outside and make connections with people that can help them out.
Regardless, the discussion isn't even about kids that commit suicide for stupid emotional reasons, it's about suicide in the context of terminal illness. Are you that ridiculously butthurt about me that you can't have an intelligent discussion for just a moment and instead have to jump on retarded insults train right away?
"That nothing we have is worth hurting anyone else for. It's all fleeting people. Stop seeing race, color, sex, religion, etc.... Theyre all just people, and if you try to love them you won't lose anything."
"It doesn't. Thank you for this, as it let's me live beyond my walls. My question tonyounwould be this, what long term risk is there in saying hello? I can't find any. Worst case, is you get some possessive asshole that thinks your hitting on his sister and you get a black eye. Total pain and shame lasts maybe a month. Meeting the right girl though lasts forever.
So you tell me, would youmtrade a month of shame for a life of happiness?"
Holy shit, those are actually very deep words from this guy.
I wouldn't know how I'd handle being in control of my own death like that.

what are you talking about lol. I haven't even seen you besides this thread. Well that's not true I've seen you when people link to your posts and shit like that but that's about it.
i think you are the butthurt, one seeing as you seem to have been offended because I said "ur voice...it emanates from ur :butt:"
i think wrestling other half naked man has gone to your head and made you a little aggravated.
I cried a manly tear.
I really hope I don't get lymphoma. I have a very high risk of getting it, it runs in the family. Mom, grandma, grandpa (both sides), aunt & more.

Facing death like he is, is brave and dignified in my opinion. I mean how do you spend your last hours knowing precisely when the end is coming?
people gotta clean that up man
fuck everyone
unless i was too weak i'd just cut my wrist the long way if i wanted to die
Damn I hate reading on Reddit.
A classic forum structure would be awesome.
Reminds me of Dr. Kevorkian
Wow...I haven't teared up in years. This actually hit me. Brave man.
It takes some serious guts to set up a date to end it and get the meds and everything. Though if it was me, I'd do it with a gun. Seems more final to me.

I'd write a ton of letters too. I know Tuesday morning this will cross my mind.
I don't see why there is even a debate here, what right does anyone have to say "no you aren't allowed to die"?
A lot of suicidal people have a chance at a better life and don't realize it. Preventing suicide even if it doesn't seem like it, is a lot of times the right thing to do in the long run.
Now it's a different story for someone that is terminally ill for example and can't really recover and has to suffer as long as they're alive.
This is really hard to read, poor guy. :saddowns:
