Me and my friend cycling home, some kid shouts "GAY BIKES", my friend gets insulted and starts a fight, loses the fight because the kid has all his friends. My friend and this kid still fight at school.
Cycling home by myself, same group of kids shout "GAY BIKE" I look at them and laugh, they look a bit taken aback, I carry on cycling like a boss. Nothing further comes of it.

Yeah, no. My mom have threatened to kill me at several occasions (not even joking, she was dead serious), and one time she even tried to stab me with a kitchen knife.
