So, when is the earliest we can expect leaked pics of the winter sets? I'm not familiar with the timetable on these things.
Far as I recall, most leaks for the winter waves usually come out around Septemberish, and the leaks for the reboot came out as early as July last year, so doubht we'll be waiting for too much longer.

We should expect something this month.
Maybe they'll reveal the new sets at NYCC, just like last year, but I suspect they'll reveal their new in-house theme, nexo knights.

General facts -
Everyone looks kind of feathery.
Box art is the same but the mask is the Mask of Control with a green glow behind it.
Every creature has the same mask but they all look different, because different animals, blah blah.
Lots of the dual coloring, the faded basic colors to trans blue/silver/etc
Most, if not all have the new SW torso in silver/gold
Each Creature set comes with weird wide-mouthed creature each one having the same basic appearance but with different leg pieces.
There's a new feathery/rocky/flaming piece used for knees, fades from gold/silver to respective colors.
Each set comes with a golden mask, same as 2015
Umarak looks like a giant zombie deer, with a sick silver to trans green head that has huge antlers with the Chima spider legs coming out of them. Red tooth pieces (think Atlantis ones, those small tooth pieces) and has a giant "bow" (long stick connected to a 6-stud shooter with two giant spider legs on top and botom) Big feet, trans green toe claws (what) Golden Mask of Control.
Doesn't look like there's any new feet pieces. Onua has big two-toed feet I think were in a HF set at one point.
Kopaka + Melum thing - The picture displayed is the combo model, which is a big white guy with the fire knees in gold to trans blue, new gold to trans blue flame blades, Creature feet are shoulderpads, Kopaka wears the Creature's head as a hat, sort of. Other arm is a long stud shooter.
Zombie - no bone pieces, his legs have a complex looking build, like the new Grievous
Onua - Purple, gold, black, same same, giant purple feather pieces on shoulders, fire-knee (gold to purple) two toed feet, black to silver mask, giant drill hammer (Power Miners smaller drill) with a stud shooter on the back, hidden under a giant black shell thing.
Umarak doesn't look Grevious sized but he looks big. Don't see a gearbox, but I see a floating arm, so that might indicate something.
Tahu - Skull Grinder knee things in gold on shoulders, 2 swords with the new flame blade (silver to red/orange) got some blue designs on his chest, rock/flame knees (gold to trans orange/red)
Gali is mostly blue to silver, orange shoulderPAD, long spear with a fan in the middle-ish (which looks kinda odd?)
Lewa is green and silver, dual lime flame blades, silver and yellow design, I'm not seeing any of the "keetorange" you guys are calling flame yellow orange.
Pohatu has some short trans yellow shell things on his arms, long spear with a boulder on a chain on opposite end
Creatures..
Purple one looks like a weird bird. Huge fists with trans purple claws, gold to trans purple [fire knees] Enemy thing has small drills for legs
Fire looks like an eagle, wings made of the flames used on 15 Tahu's board, and the new silver to orange/red blade, enemy uses trans orange claws for legs
Blue - Water fish thing, dual stud shooters in trans light blue, head is silver to blue, enemy has spider legs (with propellers on them?)
Uxar - looks like a fly or something, some sort of insect. What I think is dark green for legs, trans lime for wings (Galaxy Squad Insectoid things) enemy has plant vines for legs.
Ketar - I think it's a scorpion, but it's got two of the new flame blades in silver to lime, enemy has a scorpion tale and a new leg piece, might be from another theme, idk.
Sets look very final. Ikir and Tahu are advertised to be combined.
Actually, Kopaka's eye looks like a stud shooter. Might be wrong, though.

There's also mentioning of a netflix series.
I think they're going with a more uniform apearence to accomodate the lil critters hanging onto their backs. Looks like they just clip on like the matoran did with the Phantoka sets.

The book says at the end [sp]the toa's golden masks get destroyed by skull grinder, and when ekimu gets the MoCr back, he makes new golden ones for them. But we're not sure if these are 2016 new.[/sp]
Man why did they all have to get the same weapon besides Onua. The best part of the old toa was what unique weapon you'd get why ruin that.
Though I am a big fan of Onua's bitchin war hammer-drill-blaster thing.
As before I'll probably just get Onua and Tahu+ their respective familiars since they, as usual, have the coolest design.
I don't mind the reused weapon molds if it means we get more technich-y builds like Lewa's lower legs, or what ever is going on behind Kopaka's torso shell.

I dunno, in that picture of Kopaka and Melum it looks like he's wearing Melum's head for a hat. Maybe the critters have hollow heads and that's how they all look, but I'm holding out hope for something maybe a bit more complex.
I'm slightly concerned that it looks like Onua's mole friend and Kopaka's mystery animal friend seem to have the exact same build sans a few claws and horns.
I do like that Umarak the hunter's minions are living bear traps though.

I'm liking how faithful to the actual toy that drawing of Tahu looks and hope that it carries over to the rest of the characters in the series

I hope honestly didn't like the style of 1-3, I felt it often made it hard to relate toys and movie characters when they looked really different. The movies looked too fleshy and often didn't exactly resemble the toys which bugged me.
