We had to put her down, there really wasn't any chance of recovery at this point. Zoe's vet mentioned that she had a dog die of kidney failure, and this was the point she put it down.
He updated the first post.

This made me laugh, I'm still laughing as I type this.
Sorry about the dog :(
I know how you feel buddy. My dog ate an mp3 player a while ago :(
I know how you feel buddy. My dog ate an mp3 player a while ago :(
Hey! Your dog could be like every other major music producer around now, shitting out tunes! I'm sorry for that, I really don't know what came over me.
I would have given my dog one of my kidneys if something like that happened to mine
No sense on letting it go to waste now. :burger:
RIP Hobble :(
Awww, thats such a cute name... :ohdear:
I'm not responsible for the situation in the first place. There for, the owners brought this on their selves.
It doesn't matter if you're responsible for the attacks in the first place. You're exacerbating the sadness of another human being because you're a massive fucking tool, and that's why you were banned.
My dog ate a slice of rich chocolate cake but he was OK.
Sorry for your loss dude, I always find pets hardest to let go.
Sucks so much to lose a Dog, we lost the Dog I grew up along side, he was a puppy when I was a baby and he was 14 when I was 14, buried him out in our yard. It hurts so much losing a good friend like a Dog...
I know what you mean. When I was on a camping trip, my (presumed) Springer Spaniel died of liver failure. My family assumed it was a very high water contamination level in the lake he usually drank at (he was out on vacation too, at our grandparents' house, which features said lake).
I'm sure if you keep an eye on her, she will be ok. My dog has eaten a whole bunch of Chocolate easter eggs before now. Keep an eye on her!! I can't stress that enough, about 8 hours after the grapes have been eaten she may go into a shivering state. This is very scary, as she may go all floppy almost like she is fainting. The problem isn't the fainting, it is how she lands that will cause damage. Let her sleep in your room tonight. and make sure she has lots of water, evern take her for a walk and let her eat some grass too. that is good for dogs. how I know all this? Previous experience. Not very nice. [editline]02:53AM[/editline]
Why do dogs die from grapes and chocolate?
Technically Humans should too, but doctors can't explain why. Think about it, It isn't a natural diet drinking milk from a cow? monkey's or lions don't milk giraffes. Diary based products aren't a part of human evolution yet and should technically be poisonous. Because a Human diet isn't far off from a Dog's.
Did you read the thread Dragon master? He said that they had to put the dog down unfortunately.
Made me...
I'm sorry for your loss. But, I didn't know that grapes were toxic to dogs, my family used to feed my dog grapes all the time and he never appeared sick.
Really sorry to hear about this OP :(
I'm sorry for your loss. But, I didn't know that grapes were toxic to dogs, my family used to feed my dog grapes all the time and he never appeared sick.
This. My Chihuahua's are given red grapes from the store and they don't get sick. Wut?
Probably not just any kind of grapes. I feed my dog grapes and she's never gotten sick or anything.
Great thread, would read it again.
"My x is sick/is dead, better make a thread on FP and score as many heart ratings as possible!" We're gonna need another subforum if this keeps up...
Shut up nutfuck, people like you don't accept any subject as motive for starting a thread. Please go create your own forums. @ OP, my condolences. My girlfriend and I adopted a Stafford as well, great loyal dogs :(
Does anyone ever read the rules anymore. This is a My x is dying so it should be removed.
On the bright side, at least you put this thread in FT instead of GD.
Get the fuck out.
...and? Am I the only one tired of 'my {insert pet here} is dying' threads?
We had to put her down ...
Got to that bit before I could read no more, deeply sorry for your loss mate :(
