Came in here to say your dog would probably be fine. Woops.
Reminds me of when my cat died... I feel like weeping a bit...
Guys, I'm not sure OP is still coming to this thread. It's been almost two months since he posted this.
Anyone whos trying to be fun should get the hell out. I cant imagine losing my dog. He almost got run over :c
I feel really bad for you, my dog is like a walking disease so I don't really feel too attached to the thing like you to your dog. But I love my kitties :3:
My mother is dying from alcohol. [editline]1st November 2010[/editline] Her liver (or what is it in English, can't remember) is already critically fucked. She has horrible eyesight and her pupils are really yellow. Basically she's dying in front of my eyes.
My dog ate a whole toblerone, didnt die.
I don't want to read the whole OP. It will make me sad. :saddowns:
I know how you feel, I dealt with a similar situation, how ever my dog was dieing slowly.
I have tried to feed my dog grapes on many occasions. Totally didn't know they were poisonous, maybe that's why he didn't eat them.

Well long overdue sympathy, but sorry to hear. I sort of know what it's like, I had a dog die by similar means. When I was young my family had a chocolate lab. Since the day they brought me home from the hospital, the dog adored me. Half the time he wouldn't leave my side. And in time I came to love that dog too. Then when I was three, he tore up the neighbor's flowerbed, digging for something or another, who knows. But dogs do that shit, it should've been understandable. Hell we would've even compensated him for the damages of the garden. But no, he decides to be a complete fucking dickfuck and poison our dog. He set a bowl of antifreeze out for him while we were away from home. By the time we got home, he had already thrown up several times. My dad scolded him for it before he realized something was terribly wrong. He grabbed the dog, put him in the truck and made the 60 mile drive to the vet clinic in Richmond. He had to park a block or so away and run to the clinic, holding the lab in his arms. By the time they got there, the antifreeze had already destroyed his kidneys. If I'm not mistaken it crystallizes in the kidneys of dogs when it is being processed out of the body. My dad still feels bad for yelling at him, at that point not realizing the dog had less than six hours left. But fuck, what could he have done? The vets tried everything, to no avail. Poor dog was the best fuckin dog I ever had. Still got his ashes over our mantle. Shame he only got seven years to live, the dog just loved life, I don't know what else to say. Shortly after that incident we moved. Knowing that our neighbor is an irritable animal abusing shitcake was too much. Plus I'm pretty sure my dad had half the mind to kill the son of a bitch once he figured it out. The best approach was just to leave the place behind. And so we did, now having lived in our current house for 12 years. The man has long moved on, maybe he's in prison (hopefully), he had a record of being a crazy fucker after all. But Maverick still remains in his porcelain tomb. Rest in peace dog buddy, you were fucking amazing.
