Well yeah that's obvious but that one guy keeps saying 21st Century xXbreakXdownXx does and it doesn't.
there new album might not be the best, but its still good, i prefer their older albums, nimrod, warning etc. im going to see them come october, in glasgow XD
I don't love them, but I do like them. Any good punk rock band is good for my iTunes library.
I do like them but the hype of their new album was just over exaggerated. I mean it was on almost every music magazine and it's on the TV every couple of songs, it's a bit draining. I've not heard the whole album I've only heard 3 songs which I do like but they've been overplayed so much I'm sick of them.
21st Century Breakdown is an awesome album. I can't help but disagreeing with how everyone is saying it doesn't sound some of their older work. The only thing I find noticeably different is the lyrics. Green Day has always been a Punk pop/rock band, they didn't turn around at American Idiot. Songs like St. Jimmy, Murder City and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades" are all something that might as well could have been in Dookie or Klerpunk.
Thank you.
American idiot was alright but their stuff now is just crap. Their old stuff was actually not bad. At the library is my favourite.
I had 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours but now I can't find it. ;_;
I lost my copy too
I think musically, Greenday used to be really, really good.
