At that time, russia would defeat the axis even with a different leader
You are so cool.
I am envious of his cool
What on earth makes OP think that Hitler was "crazy and delusional"? He was highly logical, organized and ambitious. Obviously that doesn't justify his actions, but you really can't summarise the whole subject so vaguely.
He was a brilliant man, just went the wrong way is all
He was a brilliant man, just went the wrong way is all
He unifies a ruined country by lying to it's people and pinning them on a prominent minority in Europe. I don't see how that's brilliant. Not to mention on how he has placed the Germans as the most evil group in two out of five video games today.

Organised?
He gave out the same order to all his subordinates and just waited for the best result... I don't call that very organised nor logical. It sure did work though.
I know some Nazis where evil and the genocide they caused was horrible.
o rly?
You would perfectly know how to manage a whole empire and challenge the whole world in a War?
You'd think that after there was one leader that was dumb enough to attack Russia during winter that there wouldn't be someone dumb enough to do it again. He deserved to die just for that alone.
And it'll happen again. Just you wait.
Hitler was a smart man, just insane in most places...
sadly, a lot of people are. :smith:
I feel like you don't really know what you are talking about and are just being edgy
Hitler was a near talentless asshole, do you know how hard it was to get rejected by an art school? A guy who painted the virgin mary in faeces got accepted. Most of his ideas and sucesses were driven by his advisors, just his ideology and speeches that really drove it
OP's FB most likely: http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000969423001&ref=search
Hitler was dumb. He had the right idea but was a bit to insane. Great visions though.
No, we don't need military force. We need peace talks.
:godwin:
Well if the Jews weren't such vicious art critics...
He should've just left the USSR alone until he finished up with Britain. Looking back at history, Russia has been the toughest enemy to fight because it is so large and generally lacking modern infrastructure. Plus, he wasn't even ready to fight Russia. They didn't have winter uniforms, winter equipment, winter training, nor the resources to support a supply line from Germany to Moscow. They gambled on a quick win and it lead to their ultimate defeat.
Nature is the ultimate turn in warfare. It did in Napoleon, it allowed the Celtics to rape the Romans(killing 1/10th of their entire legion). I mean, look at Vietnam.
nly Hitler did not want to invade Britain because he believed that the British empire was essential to the world, just like the Catholic church. Also he tried and failed:

(You can't invade an island with the strongest Navy in the world)

Hitler is not the evil genius you make him out to be.
He could get thousands of people to be quiet in under a minute. He inspired a whole nation. Yeah. He was a pretty good speaker.
He just said what the public wanted and made everyone that was not "pure" german the scapegoat for everything, the people of germany easily swallowed it because it's always easier to blame someone else.
Hitler was a mediocre speaker, he was just in the right place at the right time much like Stalin was.
Not all Nazis were evil. The majority were, but some realized the fatal attraction of Hitler.
I would go against that because
A.If you have a gun to your head...you'll do what you're told
B.Hitler removed anyone who would put up a resistance against him so the people didn't have the will nor the figure to use for that
C.They had be treated like crap after World War I, even when they didn't start it. Hitler used that built up anger from the Great Depression to gain control and then focused it on most of the countries that treated them like crap (England and France).
Just want to throw this in here, people who are saying Hitler was really smart, a tactical and politcal genius. The people around him were all these things, the German army had some of the most tactically brilliant generals of all time, and his PR team was second to none, but the man himself was just a lucky to be where he was figurehead.

Don't forgot the innovative German engineers.
Hitler is not the evil genius you make him out to be.
All the evil, none of the genius.
Some folks need to learn their history. Even if it is from Cracked.

One thing they forgot was the fact that Germany has no natural resources to speak of, and acquiring these resources was like trying to build a time machine.
Did somebody say Nazis?
Hitler thought the world revolved around him.

I've heard of one "nazi" who helped helped Jews escape from a concentration camp.
Keep in mind that most soldiers were brainwashed, the SS would force them to kill children and burn them.
They were still dicks though.

Argh, this is getting annoying. The Germans didn't invade the USSR in the Winter.
Hitler's sketch. Fairly average, not horrible. It lacks refinement and originality.
VS.
Otto Dix (Same time period as Hitler)
In short, Hitler was an alright artist, however compared to many of his competitors for entrance in Vienna he fell noticeably short.
Actually, I read somewhere that it was because the art schools wanted the crazy new stuff, like Picasso's works. They didn't care for traditionalists anymore. That's one reason Hitler burned modern art, he had a grudge against it.
